17英寸OLED触摸屏的分辨率为2560 x 1920像素,长宽比为4:3。虽然它给人留下了很好的主观印象,但中间的折线会变得很明显,这取决于观看角度和反射,与其他可折叠设备(如智能手机)一样。然而,图像并不扭曲,在实践中也不会让人分心。折叠机不提供快速刷新率。由于采用了OLED面板,可视角度很大,而且没有背光渗漏。华硕包括一些功能,以抵制静态图像的烧毁。它们包括在30分钟不活动后启用屏保,以及像素移动,它可以非常轻微地移动像素。这在实践中是不明显的。除了亮度之外,色温也可以通过环境光传感器自动调整。

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The frequency of 240 Hz is relatively low, so sensitive users will likely notice flickering and experience eyestrain at the stated brightness setting and below.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8706 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

性能--Zenbook 17折叠机采用节能的Alder Lake CPU

华硕目前只提供一种配置的Zenbook 17 Fold,它采用英特尔酷睿i7处理器,16GB内存和1TB PCIe SSD。这款笔记本电脑没有采用普通的Alder Lake-U芯片,而是依靠一种特别节能的芯片(以前名为ULV)。据英特尔称,该 酷睿i7-1250U峰值消耗为29瓦,典型TDP仅为9瓦。

在日常使用中,Zenbook 17 Fold是一个反应迅速的设备,部分原因是快速的PCIe SSD。基准测试结果也很不错。基准测试结果也很不错。Windows没有针对触摸输入进行优化,这一事实在实践中很快就会显现出来。也就是说,自Windows 10以来,已经有了很大的进步,而旧版的 ThinkPad X1 Fold而在华硕的屏幕上,窗口的分布明显要好得多。当把键盘放在底部时,切换到笔记本模式(在该区域禁用屏幕)效果很好,桌面图标的定位也保持一致。只有窗口经常需要调整大小,而活动的应用程序并不总是改变大小。
