Reviews for the Realme 7 Pro
With fast loading, four cameras and stereo speakers the realme 7 Pro wants to convince. All this sounds quite impressive for a 300 Euro cell phone, but can the realme 7 Pro convince in everyday life?

In the face of uncertainty that is 2020, many phone manufacturers are making a strong showing with their mid-range phones, with a wide variety of expectations and price points to please just about anyone. Many are producing competent mid-range phones with a huge number of camera lenses at the rear, such as Xiaomi’s Poco X3 NFC, Vivo V19, and of course, Realme’s 7 Pro. Even Google is putting more effort into pushing Pixel 4a for wider availability and visibility, and Samsung likewise, with their Galaxy M and Galaxy A series as well.

For the price of P17,990 (8GB+128GB), comparing the Realme 7 Pro to Realme 6 Pro, there are some downgrades and upgrades. To explain it as simply as possible, they sacrifice some features to put it in the most needed parts–the Battery Efficiency. Imagine you have a power-efficient chipset and display, then the battery will get more screen time.

Tough landscape, we know. So to make things easier, if you're set on getting an Android phone with Google Mobile Services (GMS) intact and particularly like a phone with a good in-display fingerprint sensor along with charging speeds unrivalled by any at its price point, the Realme 7 Pro offers a compelling all-round device for your consideration.

The Realme 7 Pro sees the company take another step forward and will attract a solid clump of new users and fans. It isn’t the world’s greatest smartphone but it gives much pricier models a real run for their money.

The Realme 7 Pro is a terrific all-round device that will delight those looking for a budget phone with decent photography and the freedom of fast-charging. The 7 Pro’s toughest competition ultimately comes from in-house, likely leaving Realme with smiles on their faces either way.

The realme 7 Pro offers some fairly good specs while packing a decent camera system and ticks some of the big boxes required in a mid-range device however there are a couple of issues — mostly in the software — which could cause some to pass on this device. The UI is improving over time and it is something realme are aware they need to continue to work on.

The Realme 7 Pro has the apparent objective of being the best in the budget market segment, with features like 65W fast charging, an AMOLED display and reliable cameras. It succeeds in its mission for the most part, but it's missing a few features that most 2020 smartphones have.

Overall, the realme 7 Pro, is a worth upgrade to realme 6 Pro at a slightly higher price compared to the predecessor. It has improved main camera, AMOLED screen, 65W fast charging and offers good battery life even with a 4500mAh battery, but there is no high refresh rate screen and the phone doesn’t have a glass body.

The Realme 7 Pro is an excellent phone with a gorgeous screen, solid performance and impressive battery life, but if you value a high refresh rate display the regular model is a better pick.

The Realme 7 Pro is an iterative step forward that drops the versatile camera setup from the Realme 6 Pro but adds blazing fast 65W charging to the mix. Add to it a large 4,500mAh battery and a performant Snapdragon 720G chipset and you've got a well balanced smartphone. Unfortunately, the bloatware and ad-ridden interface takes away from the user experience.

The Realme 7 Pro starts with the price, which is very affordable, and everything else follows on from that – for not much money you get decent performance, excellent battery life, a tidy design and an okay camera, and that might be enough to tempt you in.

The Realme 7 Pro is yet another one of those 'bang for the buck' offers and it's hard to pass. Priced at about €300 the 7 Pro offers a lot of cool features starting with the OLED screen, through the Snapdragon 720G chip, then the good camera setup, and, of course, the blazing-fast 65W charging.

Running up and down the spec list there's very little here not to like, especially in the price bracket the phone fits in. When it comes to pure numbers and performance, you'll struggle to find anything as compelling at the budget end of the market.

Realme 7 Pro is an all-round performer which comes with all the essential features. The smartphone packs an octa-core processor, full HD+ display and quad-camera setup. Along with all these specifications, the major highlight is its 65W charging capability. With fast charging on-board you will never run out of juice and can continue using the device without any hassle. If you still want to consider alternative then you can choose a smartphone from the Samsung Galaxy M series.

The realme 7 Pro has an official price tag of PHP 17,990. On its own, it’s definitely an impressive device. You get reliable performance, and the premium feel is still there complimented with a display that stands out—not to mention that it now has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Realme 7 Pro is both an upgrade and downgrade to the company’s previous mid-range phone, sacrificing a few features that popped up earlier this year to get a few new ones. The loss of the 90Hz refresh rate is a bummer, but the upside is that you get a nice looking screen AMOLED screen instead of an LCD one.

The Rs 20,000 segment is a crowded space with lots of options available. But Realme 7 Pro is good enough to make a place for itself. It is overall a good package with very minimal drawbacks. The Realme 7 Pro looks good, feels lightweight in the hands, captures great pictures in most situations, offers powerful performance and delivers long-lasting battery life. The icing on the cake is the 65W fast charging support that comes out-of-the-box which is rarely seen on a phone at this price point.

Realme 7 Pro is all about choices that you will have to make, apart from choosing to pay Rs 19,999. You have an AMOLED display but the 90Hz refresh rate is not there on it. You have the same cameras as the Realme 7, which, by the way, has the 90Hz screen that uses an LCD. There is a less capacious 4500mAh battery but you get the top-notch 65W fast charging technology, which you will not find in this price segment.

Realme recently launched it’s 7 Pro smartphone, the successor to the 6 Pro that was launched early this year. The Realme 6 Pro (Review) was pretty much an all-rounder with a great spread of software and hardware features, which included a 90Hz display and a 2X optical zoom telephoto, both of which fared well in our review.

Starting at Rs 19,999, the Realme 7 Pro is an all-round smartphone with meaningful upgrades that make it better than predecessor and peers. If its plastic construction and screen of 60Hz refresh rate bother you, be assured that these are just small compromises in exchange for the phone’s all-round capability. It is a complete package with novel design, good display and optics with useful value-added features, swift performance, and industry-leading battery charging time. There is no reason for not liking the Realme 7 Pro, but do check out the OnePlus Nord (review) and Samsung Galaxy M51 if you want options to compare before finalising your pick.

The Realme 7 Pro takes the brand into the Rs 20,000 price segment. But will its combination of good specs along with stereo sound and an amazingly fast-charging battery make an impact? Here's our Realme 7 Pro Review.

All things considered, I think Realme has done a fairly good job in crafting the 7 Pro. It brings some meaningful upgrades to the Realme 6 Pro in the form of an AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, and much faster charging. The primary rear camera has improved, thanks to the new sensor, but overall, I think all the cameras in general could still do better in low light. I'm not sure if ditching the ultra wide-angle selfie camera was the best move, as unlike a depth camera, it could actually be pretty useful.

The new Realme 7 Pro seems to be getting most of the things right but it does take a few risky decisions. The lack of what wasn't a great telephoto module might be offset if the main camera really is notably better, but we're yet to see about that. Even so, the absence of an ultrawide camera, smaller display and the downgrade to 60Hz might alienate some of the existing Realme number series fans.
