The realme 7 is significantly cheaper than its predecessor, but still comes with a 90 Hz display and even a larger battery. That sounds like a good offer, in our test we take a closer look.

The Realme 7 is sensational value for the money. It looks great, it performs as well as phones that cost 50% more, and the battery will go the distance. Features like a 90Hz screen are just icing on an already delicious and cost-effective cake. There is a ‘but’ though. And that ‘but’ comes in the form of the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. For just £20 more – or the same money as the 8GB/128GB version of the Realme 7 we were sent – you get a phone that’s better in every way. Narrowly better in the case of the cameras and performance, but the screen is significantly better, and manages an even higher 120Hz refresh rate in the process. Realistically, you’ll be happy with either. But if you want to make every pound count, it’s Poco all the way.

Realme 7 is one of the best smartphones that you can get under Rs.15,000 right now. From a strong processor that handles heavy games easily to a 90Hz display which makes everyday usage better, it has everything that you can ask for. The sound output from the speakers is good and since this comes with a punch-hole camera it becomes a great device for media consumption. The battery holds up well and easily gets you through the day, it comes with an Audio Jack that lets you connect your earphones directly and In addition to this, a 30W fast charger is also bundled with the device. Overall, the Realme 7 is a complete package and you definitely won’t regret buying this.

The Realme 7 immediately becomes one of the best budget Android handsets on the market, as we've come to expect from Realme at this point. There are some compromises here, but ultimately you're getting a lot of smartphone for not very much money.

Realme 7 is the best budget device for mobile gamers. While the top spec price may sail dangerously close to stronger rivals, the cheaper options have few equals in the budget department – especially in design and gaming performance.

The competition is too fierce for the Realme 7 to claim the best budget phone crown that its predecessor wore for so long. But don’t hold that against it too much. This still offers phenomenal value for money, with strong performance and all-round specs packed into an attractive design at an affordable price. I’m a little disappointed by the camera, and wouldn’t recommend anyone buy the base model with 4GB RAM, but beyond that there’s not much to complain about here.

Realme 7 is a great choice for gaming if you want the latest Realme phone. From Realme 6 you will get a large 5000mAh battery, premium refreshed Realme design, a more powerful chipset, and some tweaks in the camera capability. Basically, this will give you a better gaming experience compared to its predecessor. However, Realme 6 offers some extent due to the game’s compatibility.

If you’re a basic user who loves to game on mobile and doesn’t want to shell out even mid-range prices for a smartphone then the Realme 7 is definitely a viable option. For anyone else, there are some significant sacrifices in general performance, camera and speaker quality. However, faster charging, a handy physical fingerprint scanner and a pleasant 90Hz refresh are also here to sweeten the deal.

Not only does it have that 90Hz refresh rate option, but it also packs highly competitive performance, generous RAM & storage, and a mega battery that you can fully charge in an hour or an hour and a half. The cameras are great too, and the display should be enough for users who aren’t too meticulous about getting an AMOLED panel.

The RealMe 7 won't disappoint you while gaming at high graphics. The only aspect in which the phone lacked was punchy display. Even though it is a 90Hz display, the experience of using it does get hampered because of the colours and low brightness. Other than that, the phone is bang for the buck at a price of Rs 14,999 for 6GB/64GB variant and Rs 16,999 for 8GB/128GB variant.

Realme 7 is a phone that wants to do it all without breaking the bank and to some extent it manages to achieve that goal. We just wish Realme should have gone with an AMOLED panel instead of IPS LCD panel and a slightly better camera setup would have given this phone an edge over the competition. For the starting price of Rs 14,999, Realme 7 is a good phone to go with if you are looking for a regular budget smartphone that offers a decent balance between features, pricing and performance.

Realme is targeting at consumers who do not want to spend more than Rs 15,000 with the Realme 7. It brings a lot of updates over the Realme 6 but they are not many. But that should not bother you since you are getting a whole lot of features for Rs 14,990. Realme 7 gets the photography right, it has a smooth display and packs a long-lasting battery that charges quickly. Moreover, you are getting a high-performing processor on the Realme 7, which I think is something that can fend off the competition. I think it is a bang-on price for a smartphone such as the Realme 7 and you should definitely buy it.

The Realme 7 isn't a major update over the Realme 6, but it's a good enough refresh with its larger battery and better primary camera sensor. Overall performance is very good, battery life is excellent, and the 90Hz display makes general usage feel smooth and fluid. The Realme 7 also looks great but it is heavier and thicker than the Realme 6, and video recording quality in general could have been better. At a starting price of Rs. 14,999, it offers good value.

As with every product, pricing is crucial. However, Realme, especially the Realme 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7-series are all budget-oriented and have always offered a true bang-for-the-buck deal. Sure, the Realme 7 is now just a little pricier than the Realme 6 but the added value is much-appreciated. Even though this isn't exactly a generational upgrade, it does stand on a couple of key improvements like the huge 5,000 mAh battery and the 6GB of RAM as a standard. We are yet to see what the TÜV Rheinland Smartphone Reliability Verification means too.

Realme 7 is a successor of the popular realme 6 smartphone and it does bring new things to the table that’s worthy of calling this a successor. It shines with its large 90Hz display, brilliant performance, especially in gaming and the new 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor delivers very good results as well. More importantly, realme has done a good job in thermal management compared to the realme 6. On the other hand, there are shortcomings like the questionable build quality, sub-par low light camera performance, and the phone might be bulky for some. If you can look past the shortcomings, the realme 7 is a great performer in the sub Rs. 15,000 segment.

In the face of uncertainty that is 2020, many phone manufacturers are making a strong showing with their mid-range phones, with a wide variety of expectations and price points to please just about anyone. Many are producing competent mid-range phones with a huge number of camera lenses at the rear, such as Xiaomi’s Poco X3 NFC, Vivo V19, and of course, Realme’s 7 Pro. Even Google is putting more effort into pushing Pixel 4a for wider availability and visibility, and Samsung likewise, with their Galaxy M and Galaxy A series as well.

Starting at Rs 19,999, the Realme 7 Pro is an all-round smartphone with meaningful upgrades that make it better than predecessor and peers. If its plastic construction and screen of 60Hz refresh rate bother you, be assured that these are just small compromises in exchange for the phone’s all-round capability. It is a complete package with novel design, good display and optics with useful value-added features, swift performance, and industry-leading battery charging time. There is no reason for not liking the Realme 7 Pro, but do check out the OnePlus Nord (review) and Samsung Galaxy M51 if you want options to compare before finalising your pick.

The Realme 7 Pro takes the brand into the Rs 20,000 price segment. But will its combination of good specs along with stereo sound and an amazingly fast-charging battery make an impact? Here's our Realme 7 Pro Review.

All things considered, I think Realme has done a fairly good job in crafting the 7 Pro. It brings some meaningful upgrades to the Realme 6 Pro in the form of an AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, and much faster charging. The primary rear camera has improved, thanks to the new sensor, but overall, I think all the cameras in general could still do better in low light. I'm not sure if ditching the ultra wide-angle selfie camera was the best move, as unlike a depth camera, it could actually be pretty useful.

The new Realme 7 Pro seems to be getting most of the things right but it does take a few risky decisions. The lack of what wasn't a great telephoto module might be offset if the main camera really is notably better, but we're yet to see about that. Even so, the absence of an ultrawide camera, smaller display and the downgrade to 60Hz might alienate some of the existing Realme number series fans.

The realme 7i is currently the cheapest phone that the Chinese manufacturer sells in its 7 family. You get a triple camera, where all lenses can really be used, and a huge battery. Is that enough for a recommendation?

I will give 4.5/5 in the affordable smartphones category. Realme 7i s a beautiful handset with all premium features at a very affordable price value. It has a massive battery, fingerprint scanner along with quad-camera lenses. All the features and specs are brilliant and it is one of the best budget phones under 40k.

Realme has created some really good phones in the past, which I do not hesitate recommending to my friends and family but with Realme 7i, the company seems to have gone into overdrive. I cannot find the right word to say this, but what comes to my mind is irrelevant. Realme 7i does nothing extraordinary over Realme 6i, except for having some glorified specifications on paper. Of course, that difference is justified with the Rs 1,000 price gap, but I think you will get a better deal by spending that Rs 1,000. Chuck that. Realme was selling the Realme 6 for the same price as the Realme 6i in recent sales and this offer might return. So, if you are, anyway, going to spend that Rs 1,000, why not spend it on the more capable Realme 6? But if you are short of Rs 1,000, Realme 7i is a decent phone for its price that you can buy for Rs 11,999.

As the most affordable variant under the Realme 7 series, the Realme 7i is set to disrupt the budget segment with a number of compelling features headlined by its copious amount of RAM and a 90hz display. The lack of 4K video recording and debatable performance of the Snapdragon 662 might turn off some people, but the Realme 7i is the ideal phone for those who want that smooth 90hz refresh rate while having a great battery life.

We game test 6 different games: Pubg Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends: Wildrift, Mobile Legends, Honkai Impact, and Genshin Impact. Can Realme 7i cbe able to play those games? In general, it has 90Hz, it has 5000mAh large battery, this device wasn’t made for heavy gaming but for multitasking and browsing with ease. It is not dedicated to gaming anymore, but it can play medium on PUBG, in short, it can do casual gaming. It has better multitasking though thanks to more ram offerings, faster UFS 2.1 storage, and although 4K resolution video is a bit on the downside on its camera, 1080p quality is still for social media.

The realme 7i is coming out strong with a PHP 11,990 price tag, considering that it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We’ve been using this device for about two weeks now, and so far, we like it. From having a smooth 90hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery that can last the whole day without charging, plus an 18W fast charging capabilities, and a decent set of cameras with 64MP sensors, the realme 7i indeed is one of a reliable device.

The realme 7 5G is quite closely related to its 4G brother, but brings a bit more power and of course the possibility to use 5G mobile networks. The price is much higher, so is it worthwhile to go for this variant?

This is a phone you can give to a parent or younger child, and they won't hate it. We'd recommend it over more expensive models, like the OnePlus Nord and Motorola's Moto G 5G Plus. And for £279, who can argue with that?

Ultimately, we can’t help but think that Realme is out OnePlus-ing OnePlus here. The Realme 7 5G is exactly what the OnePlus Nord N10 5G should have been. It’s the better handset, and it’s more affordable. Maybe that’s the point? As OnePlus matures and becomes more like Oppo, Realme is swooping in and filling the void. If you live in Europe and are looking for an affordable 5G phone, the Realme 7 5G won’t let you down.

If the Realme 7 5G was being sold for the same £229 that it was available for during the Black Friday sales, I would be telling you here and now that it is the budget handset of 2020. No ifs, no buts, and certainly no maybes. However. Because it has an RRP of £279, it encroaches into the territory of the Realme 7 Pro (review coming soon) which is just £20 more but comes with an AMOLED display (60Hz), 64GB Main camera, and stereo sound.

The Realme 7 5G is, by all accounts, an exciting device that currently finds itself in a quite advantageous position on the European market as one of the first in an upcoming wave of budget-friendly 5G devices. Though, through its other qualities like fantastic battery life, fast 120Hz IPS display and clean and snappy Realme UI interface, the Realme 7 5G gracefully manages to transcend the "one-trick pony" appeal of only bringing affordable 5G.
