Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8715 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

在GFXBench的电池测试中,我们还注意到,在高负荷下,电池会很快耗尽:手机在10分钟内失去了10%的电池容量,所以你甚至不能假设2小时的运行时间。

充电也是对耐心的真正考验:我们等待了几个小时,直到设备的电池最终再次充满。有时,即使手机处于待机状态,并且连接了附带的充电器,电池甚至也会放电。只有当智能手机关闭时,电池电量才会增加。重新启动后,充电也能在待机状态下进行,但手机似乎仍然非常不可靠。
