AMD拉斐尔Zen 4 Ryzen 9 7950X和Ryzen 7 700X承诺比Zen 3有显著的性能和效率升级。新的处理器与英特尔最新的Raptor Lake产品争夺性能和游戏皇冠,并在大多数情况下取得成功。新的Eco模式,即65瓦的Ryzen 7 7950X可以超过库存的Alder Lake Core i9-12900K,特别有趣,但用户必须考虑到进入AM5平台的初始投资。
AMD Ryzen (Zen) Zen 4 Radeon Gaming Desktop

在坚守AM4平台半个多月之后,Zen 4标志着AMD首次向PC计算的新时代进行代际转换。拉斐尔Zen 4系列,到目前为止有四个SKU,带来了对DDR5和PCIe Gen 5技术的原生支持。除此以外,Zen 4处理器还支持AVX-512指令,内置RDNA 2 iGPU,并承诺提高IPC收益和电源效率。

Zen 4 Ryzen 7000系列需要新的 基于Socket AM5的主板,旗舰的X670E板甚至具有菊花链式双PROM21芯片组。新的LGA 1718插座允许增加功率限制,最高可达230 W PPT,可以容纳最高170 W TDP的CPU。

Zen 4的核心复合芯片(CCD)是在台积电5纳米节点上制造的,而I/O芯片,包括2-CU RDNA 2 iGPU、PCIe Gen 5通道和DDR5内存控制器,采用台积电6纳米工艺。不同于 英特尔Raptor Lake支持DDR4和DDR5,AM5只支持DDR5内存。

虽然这确实带来了一些工程上的优势,但对消费者来说有一个短期的小插曲,因为与DDR4相比,DDR5的价格仍然偏高。

对于AM4,用户必须配置结构、内存控制器和内存时钟,使其以1:1:1的比例运行,这意味着DDR4-3600内存是Ryzen 5000的甜蜜点。在Ryzen 7000中,结构时钟可以设置为自动,而内存控制器和内存时钟可以按1:1的比例运行。

AMD推荐DDR5-6000内存作为Ryzen 7000的甜蜜点。用户可以从预先确定的EXPO配置文件中进行选择,这基本上是AMD定义一键式内存OC的免版税方式,在许多方面类似于英特尔的XMP。我们的测试平台花了异常长的时间来适应新的EXPO配置文件,但较新的BIOS更新应该能够更快地改变。

Ryzen 9 7950X在TrueCrypt中确实比Core i9-13900K领先20%,在HWBOT x264 4K和7-Zip multi中能够以微弱优势击败猛禽湖旗舰。在大多数其他情况下,Ryzen 9 7950X和Core i9-13900K的性能几乎相同。

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X

生态模式:65 W Ryzen 9 7950X胜过Core i9-12900K

生态模式基本上是AMD的说法,即以较低的TDP运行CPU。有了Zen 4,该公司正在兜售大量的电力节省,而对性能的影响很小。提供的TDP值取决于SKU--170W的CPU可以被配置为105W或65W,而105W的芯片可以降低到65W。

我们测试的Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master板只能使用AMD的参考BIOS 813b运行。这意味着我们的设置没有提供一键式选项来启用Eco模式,尽管零售单位应该能够升级到提供更直接的方法的较新版本。你也可以从最新版本的Ryzen Master中启用这些设置。

尽管如此,我们在固件的PBO设置中使用了AMD提供的以下数值来启用相应的TDP。

  • 65 W TDP = 88,000 ppt; 75,000 tdc; 150,000 edc
  • 105 W TDP = 142,000 ppt; 110,000 TDC; 170,000 edc
  • 170W TDP = 230,000 ppt; 160,000 tdc; 225,000 edc

在Cinebench R15多核30环测试中,我们立即看到了降低Ryzen 9 7950X TDP的好处。在105W TDP下,Ryzen 9 7950X仅损失了约7%的性能,最大提升速度从5.47 GHz略微下降到5.43 GHz。核心峰值温度也从88.5℃大幅下降到68.3℃,下降了22%。

考虑到核心时钟的明显减少,Ryzen 9 7950X在65W时,在基准测试中失去了约22.4%的性能。然而,该处理器现在的核心温度低得多,只有约50℃,最大封装功率只有90W。

从170瓦到105瓦的整体性能冲击在大多数情况下是可以忽略不计的,尽管非常密集的多核工作负载可能会受到稍高的冲击。170瓦和65瓦之间的差异更容易被察觉,测试中的累积降幅约为9%。
