外壳和连接 - A515没有存储卡阅读器
银灰色的外壳由金属(盖子)和塑料元素(基本单元)组成。宏碁依靠的是哑光、光滑的表面。虽然底座和盖子都可以稍稍扭转,但任何加工不良的迹象都无处可寻。电池(用螺丝固定而不是用胶水粘住)以及其他内部零件都可以在拆下底壳后拿到。内置网络摄像头(0.9MP,最大1280 x 720像素)没有机械盖。
该电脑有三个USB-A端口(1个USB 2.0,2个USB 3.2 Gen 1)和一个USB-C插槽(USB 3.2 Gen 1)。后者既不支持Power Delivery,也不支持通过USB-C的DisplayPort。这意味着只有一个视频输出可以用HDMI连接。存储卡读卡器也不在机上。
在最佳条件下(附近没有其他支持WLAN的设备,笔记本电脑和服务器PC之间的距离较短),WLAN传输率很好,但并不完全符合WiFi芯片(联发科MT7921;802.11ax)的能力。

输入设备 - 宏碁笔记本电脑有背光键
背光的Chiclet键盘按键(一个亮度级别)行程短,压力点清晰。键的阻力是可以接受的。键盘在打字时有轻微的晃动,但这并没有被证明是过于恼人的。总而言之,宏碁已经提供了一个适合日常使用的键盘。

屏幕 - IPS技术

性能 - Aspire 5配备了Tiger Lake

奔腾金服奔腾金7505双核处理器(Tiger Lake 系列)以2 GHz的基本时钟速度运行。由于采用了涡轮增压模式,可以提高到3.5GHz。支持超线程(每个核心两个线程)。
Cinebench R15多线程测试最初以3.4 GHz的速度运行,然后时钟速度降至3至3.2 GHz之间。单线程测试在1.9至3.4GHz下进行。在电池上,时钟速度要低得多。CB R15的循环测试证实了CPU涡轮增压的持续使用。奔腾将自己置于性能表的较低部分,但对于简单、廉价的办公笔记本电脑来说是一个不错的选择。对于日常使用(办公室、互联网、流媒体),CPU可以很好地应对,不会遇到任何问题。
