外壳 - IdeaPad 5配备了一个超薄的铝制外壳
IdeaPad的超薄铝制外壳采用了哑光的银灰色(云灰色)。显示器边框为黑色。联想选择了一种时尚的、不做作的设计,表面光滑。这款笔记本电脑没有维修舱门,电池被牢牢地内置在设备中。
这台16英寸的笔记本显示出良好的制造质量。缝隙尺寸准确,没有材料突起。刚性和稳定性没有留下批评的余地。盖子和底座单元可以扭动一下,但整个情况仍在限制范围内。铰链将盖子牢牢地固定在位置上,但它们允许盖子有一点晃动。最大开孔角度约为155度。此外,用一只手打开盖子是可能的。

CPU和GPU开始进行压力测试(Prime95和FurMark至少运行一个小时),速度分别为4 GHz和1,600 MHz。随着测试的进行,速度分别下降到3.1 GHz和略低于1,400 MHz。压力测试代表了一种极端情况。我们用这个测试来检查系统是否在全负荷下保持稳定。

电池寿命
