The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a good phone that’s also a little strange. It excels in raw power, imaging quality, and battery life. But, has no water resistance assurances, wireless charging, or decent external speakers, all penalising what it could have truly been --- especially for the price it commands. It also has a strange display resolution that’s neither helping nor hurting its value proposition. In a way, it’s like an Oppo-branded “budget flagship” or "flagship-lite" device where the brand eschews what it thinks are non-essential components in favour of a price tag lower than its Find X series (typically prices above S$1.5k). Oppo isn’t wrong, since most people care about the phone’s operating system, the ability to shoot pretty pictures, and deliver on performance where it counts.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ provides everything they claimed and then some more. They claimed to provide a flagship camera experience. The photos are sharp with rich colors and Even when you zoom in, the details are preserved preciously. This excellency is taken over to the design, display, processing, and even the battery, which provides a full day of battery backup. The smartphone doesn’t underperform in any department of minor issues such as the absence of an AMOLED panel, the latest Snapdragon SoC, 8K recording support, wireless charging, water-resistant coating, and a stock user experience in the premium segment make us think twice when alternatives in the same segment arrive with all these set of features. No doubt, the smartphone satisfies the user’s needs while every one of us expects the wanted device to justify the amount.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ ticks all the right boxes. It looks good, feels premium, delivers a performance that would be enough for most, and the cameras are good too especially the telephoto one. Although all is not well, there are some letdowns as well – there is no official IP rating, and the bloat situation, these two do not look good on the phone costing half a lakh. Nevertheless, you can consider it for Rs 54,999, if you want a premium phone, and cameras are your priority.

The Reno series has always been relegated to the premium mid-range segment and the Reno10 Pro+ embodies that promise. In many aspects, it looks, feels and performs like a proper flagship device. Premium design and build, excellent performance, generous memory and storage options, fast charging and flagship level camera system. There might be a few missing items in our checklist — water resistance (ingress protection) or wireless charging. Everything else seemed spot on for its category. However, with a matching price tag of Php39,990, it might be a bit of an ask considering that the 6-month old OnePlus 11 5G (now at Php43k for the 8GB+128GB) is well within the vicinity in terms of specs and price. For Globe postpaid subscribers, you can get the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G on GPlan 2499 with a Php7,000 cash out. It’s also available at 0% installment plans on Home Credit and all credit cards.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ is about R2k more expensive than its predecessor at R21 999 (depending on the retailer). Do you get more value or performance on the Reno10 Pro+? The short answer is yes, with better specs across the board, but that is to be expected of a new iteration. The problem that the Reno10 Pro+ finds itself with is that at R21 999, it is in the same price bracket as the Samsung Galaxy S23. While that phone was launched earlier in the year, this new device is still not on par with its specifications or performance. As such, while OPPO’s new flagship phone is a great all-around performer, there are still better options in the same price bracket. If this phone was coming in closer to the R19k or even R18k price point, perhaps it would be a savvier pick up. For now though, it finds itself up against a fairly well stacked Android flagship market.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a well-rounded phone that has everything you need: solid-performing cameras, flagship-level performance, and a battery that lasts all day. Probably the only thing that most people won’t like is its price: it has a sticker price of Php 39,999. That comes pretty close to the SRP of another BKK product, the OnePlus 11, which is another excellent phone in its own right. That being said, the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G feels like a flagship phone, and with OPPO still not offering the Find X6 in the Philippines, the Reno10 Pro+ 5G is the closest you’ll come to getting a taste of the brand’s flagship chops.

It's clear that Singapore phone users can be quite spoilt for choice if their smartphone buying budget and options are wide. But, the S$1,149 Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G does bring something fresh for people who really want a powerful phone, good cameras and not wanting to go with the usual Samsung route for a top-end Android phone. Between this and other midrange options (where the rest of the Reno series sit), it's a really tough call. You can't go wrong with either option, since it depends on what you prioritise. Price-sensitive folks would look to a Pixel 7a, while those who need a larger screen and still value a clean UI and security might consider paying more for the Pixel 7 Pro. The Reno10+ Pro 5G, in turn, offers a fresh perspective through its photography chops, seated just in between these two phone tiers and offers better performance, and storage capacity.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is a good ultra-premium phone from the company. It offers fast performance with a good content viewing screen. It can deliver solid battery life with light usage and the bundled 100W charger takes just around 15 mins to top up half the battery. The telephoto camera and primary rear camera are also very much capable of delivering good shots in daylight. However, the price of Rs 54,999 sounds too high, considering its immediate rival Pixel 7 is also available at a lower price. It also misses out on a few features like wireless charging, IP rating and more. Overall, if you are looking for a good camera-focused Oppo phone, I would recommend you buy the Reno 10 Pro+ during the sale events that take place every now or then on e-commerce platforms like Flipkart because it will be available at a discounted price.

Do I like the Reno10 Pro+? Most certainly. It has basically everything going for it all the way from its display to its battery. In the middle, you also find a capable camera setup and of course, performance levels that are not going to disappoint anyone. Bloatware issues aside, the Reno10 Pro+ is as much of a flagship offering as any other device in the market currently. Unfortunately, the Rs 54,999 pricing can come as a hard sell considering equally good offerings in the form of the Moto Edge 30 Ultra, selling at a slightly lower cost. There’s also the OnePlus 11 and iQOO 11, for the ultimate performance in the market right now. However, considering the Reno10 Pro+ as an overall package of smartphone utility, it gets my nod as a worthy option under Rs 60,000.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G definitely meets our expectations and is a noticeable leap over the Reno 8 Pro 5G, which felt more like a mid-range smartphone in terms of its camera and raw performance. Despite the slightly dated processor, the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G still manages to deliver good performance and also comes with capable camera hardware. However, as mentioned earlier in this review, there's the OnePlus 11 5G (Review) which offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, along with a bigger 5,000mAh battery. It also has a superior ultra-wide angle camera with a higher resolution sensor. There's also the iQoo 11 5G (Review) which packs hardware that's similar to the OnePlus 11, and although it lacks the rather flexible camera of the 11 5G and the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, it does gets 120W wired fast charging, which is pretty much unmatched in this segment (and beyond).

The Reno10 Pro Plus is an impressive smartphone with notable features, particularly in the imaging and charging departments. While it lacks an official ingress protection rating for water-and-dust resistance, its thin-and-lightweight design compensates for this. The superfast wired charging capability is a significant advantage, even though wireless charging is not supported. Priced at Rs 54,999, the Reno10 Pro Plus offers a premium smartphone experience without compromising on core features. It delivers a well-rounded experience across various aspects, which is quite surprising considering its competitive price point.

OPPO made some tall claims with the OPPO Reno10 Pro+; the loftiest of which is being the “Portrait Expert”. I think they’ve actually nailed it to some extent. The telephoto periscope lens on the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ clicks some of the most stunning portraits I’ve ever seen. Especially at under ₹60K. The natural bokeh and crisp details make for some social-media-worthy shots, however, the camera system is not perfect. The portrait lens could use some tuning when it comes to skin tone colour and edge detection. Similarly, the primary lens could use some work on dynamic range; and the ultrawide camera needs a complete overhaul. However, it is a valiant attempt from the company. OPPO has truly managed to deliver a competitive portrait experience for a fraction of the price of competing flagship phones.

With all points discussed, now you know that OPPO is quite serious about shaping the Reno series into a portrait-focused class of smartphones that benefits users of both professional and casual via a carefully curated set of camera lenses and associated software that produces amazing images and footage. Further complimented by a set of powerful hardware, one may enjoy the feeling of a flagship smartphone without shelling out as much. Speaking of shelling out money, if you need more reasons to get hold of one of the new Reno10 series devices, here’s what you need to know.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus is an amazing device that is practically a flagship despite its slightly outdated chipset. Its camera performance can make just about anyone a decent photographer and the battery life is more than adequate. Even its design is both stylish and pragmatic. My only gripe with the phone is that, as you can see from the examples above, the pricing puts it in the same arena as some of this year’s premium smartphones with newer and more powerful processors. Of course, if you’re not much of a power user and are more interested in good imaging for a lower price, then the Reno is a great choice.

So, after going through all that – I just want to say one thing. This phone is very, very similar to the OnePlus Nord 3 5G that we reviewed yesterday. You can check it out here. I think both these phones share a lot of similarities including the IR blaster, but the biggest difference is the chipset. One is using the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, and another is using the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both these phones are created with the same idea in mind – bringing some of the flagship experience from last year and repackaged it as a mid-range smartphone. I like this approach a lot, but I’m not sure about the price, honestly. At RM3,499 – I can only say yeowzers.

As the tenth-generation milestone of the OPPO Reno series, Reno 10 Pro+ firmly cultivates the three major tracks of portrait, color, and thinness. The 8.28mm-thick body is stuffed with a large bottom periscope telephoto, and the series uses a suspended prism for the first time. Anti-shake and SUPERVOOC S power management chip, OPPO delegated its best technology to create a young flagship of the year that pays tribute to the first generation. How to take the most beautiful side of your girlfriend? OPPO Reno10 Pro+ review: Telephoto portraits allow straight men to take pictures The minimalist concept of “Window of Vision” was introduced into the Reno10 series for the first time, showing the unique glass and metal splicing texture of the tenth-generation Reno mobile phone. Innovation realizes the dual expression of vision and touch.

While this smartphone will not disrupt the big names on the market, it is a decent affordable option among its peers. The triple lens setup offers good picture quality, with the 1x lens producing fine results, and the 2x “telephoto” option also doing very well. The ultrawide isn’t the best on the market, but it’s not bad. Video isn’t very impressive, but is likely to be good enough for grabbing occasional clips. There are some things missing here – not a surprise considering the price – such as raw format shooting, macro focusing and a higher resolution screen – but it’s a good buy if you can live without those things.

The Oppo Reno10 has a big, bright curved screen and is light and comfortable to hold and carry, but it feels like it's missing a standout feature to set itself apart in the frantically contested midrange phone field. If you’re trying to get the most performance for the least money, Oppo’s Reno 10 5G is not going to be the one for you. In that circumstance, I recommend the Xiaomi 12T, where you’re getting a massive leap in performance for the same price. Alternatively, Google’s Pixel 7a isn’t much more expensive and offers better performance than the Reno 10 5G, as well as a clean Android installation and a terrific suite of cameras. Of course, the Pixel 7a doesn’t have a telephoto lens, and it’s here that the Reno 10 5G really finds its niche. Optical zooms are as rare as fairy dust in this price range, and the Reno 10 manages to include a decent sensor with very few corners cut. Add in the extensive battery life and the near-flawless display, and there’s just enough here to make up for the flagging performance. If you care more about a robust camera array than speedy processing, the Oppo Reno 10 5G could well be for you.

It’s also got a decent set of cameras, long battery life and speedy charging with the adapter even included in the box. For £399 it’s an easy phone to recommend, but an official IP rating would be really nice to have.

The OPPO Reno 10 5G does provide a compelling offer to anyone who wants 5G, a great camera, excellent battery life and super fast charging all in a neat package. OPPO has gone far and beyond my expectations and that is a good thing. Granted there are a couple of things that I would like OPPO to look at changing such as adopting more basic Google apps alongside removing or not downloading apps and games it thinks I might want but that is just minor compared to the overall package and experience for the average user. The OPPO Reno 10 5G is available to purchase from the OPPO website, JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks website and stores in either silver grey or ice blue for $749.00.

The Oppo Reno 10 5G is a respectable handset, with a premium look, vibrant display, fast charging and enough grunt for everyday tasks. That said, weighing up the price tag against the spec sheet, it really doesn’t stand out from the crowd. Considering the tight competition in the mid-range Android space, you really need to be making the most of that 32 MP telephoto portrait camera to justify favouring the Reno 10 5G over its rivals. If you tend to reach for your phone because you want to capture the moment, then the Reno 10 5G deserves a place on your shortlist.

The Oppo Reno 10 hits all of the marks for an acceptable mid-range smartphone experience. Its display, performance, stamina, design, and camera all fall somewhere between ‘good’ and ‘good enough’. Despite some of the compromises OPPO, the fact that it is more affordable than the Reno8 at launch–on top of having no filler cameras, a bigger battery, and a better display–makes the Reno10 a solid mid-range offering. At its under Php 24k price point, you’d be hard-pressed to find any phone similar to the Reno10 in the Philippines that has no filler cameras–not to mention a telephoto camera that’s decent and useful.

Unboxing the Oppo Reno 10 5G (UK model) with an early review of the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and beyond. The Oppo Reno 10 5G is a mid-range smartphone boasting flagship design, a zoom camera lens and super-fast charging. But is it a worthy purchase vs the Pixel 7a, Samsung A54 etc? Well, highlights here include the excellent battery life which can keep you going all day, no worries. And when the Oppo Reno 10 5G is finally drained, that 67W SuperVOOC charging will fill 'er up in no time. Sadly performance isn't quite as good as some rivals. That said, gamers can play Genshin Impact on lower graphics settings with a smooth frame rate, and there's a dedicated gaming toolbar. The Oppo Reno 10 5G also offers a 64MP camera that's decent in daylight, although struggles in more ambient conditions.

The overwhelming sentiment surrounding the phone is that at its current pricing of around €470 in Europe and INR 34,000 in India, the Reno10 is just too expensive to truly be competitive. The Dimensity 7050 chipset, while decent on its own, is underpowered for that price range. Having said all this, prices are always subject to change, and we need to try to evaluate the Reno10 as a product independently as well. In our opinion, there is plenty to like here. Its display offers a great HDR experience and the sizeable 5,000 mAh battery offers dependable endurance, and speedy top-ups. And while it won't be topping any charts, the camera setup on the Reno10 is among the most versatile around. So perhaps in a few months, when the price comes down or on a good deal, we can see there being a viable place on the market for the Reno10.

OPPO has made some interesting choices with the Reno10 5G. On the one hand, you get a good-looking smartphone with an attractive AMOLED display. This makes the phone worth flaunting around and also makes it a good entertainment companion on the go, especially with the addition of stereo speakers. However, the cameras and chipset don’t live up to expectations and seem like downgrades when compared to the Reno8 5G. The Reno10 5G is recommended for those who have a budget of ₹30,000+

The Oppo Reno 10 5G sports a large 5,000mAh battery, which is quite impressive for how thin this smartphone is. It also supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, and runs on Oppo's ColorOS 13.1 which is based on Android 13. The Oppo Reno10 5G is a premium looking smartphone which packs most of the essential features such as a large battery with fast charging, good display, and plenty of storage. However, its pricing will ultimately decide if it will be a hit or a miss with buyers.

If you are someone whose main preference in a new smartphone is the camera, then the Oppo Reno 10 Pro provides everything you expect. It is a camera-centric smartphone that may not have the best display or the best SoC, but it definitely has one of the best cameras in that price range. Oppo claimed to provide an excellent camera experience and that’s exactly what they did with the smartphone. The smartphone takes fantastic photos that have rich colors and great detail levels. Even when you zoom in, the detail levels stay sharp. Apart from this, the design, display, processing, and even the battery will provide more than a decent experience. But if you want that amazing camera with an equally amazing SoC and other components, then you can take a look at the Xiaomi 13T, which also happens to have a great camera setup. The alternative arrives with a bit better set of specs, however, the final decision is up to you and your requirements.

In conclusion, I would like to say that Oppo Reno10 Pro is a solid average. The phone offers a lot for its price. Efficiency, display quality, camera and fast charging are its main advantages. Of course, there are some aspects that could be better, such as no inductive charging or higher quality video recording. Nevertheless, all things considered, I think it's a phone worth considering, especially if you don't mind some minor flaws.

Considering the price, OPPO Reno10 Pro is a good alternative to flagships. Yes, this smartphone won't have the same performance margin, it will be inferior in terms of camera capabilities... However, not every user will find these issues critical, and the cost of the gadget will be significantly lower. At the same time, it looks nice, takes decent pictures and works stably. The disadvantages of the model are not too critical, personally I only missed the stereo sound and moisture protection.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G has a lot of potential especially if you want to create content, and it looks great too. At the same time, it performs well for everyday use, whether it’s light gaming or simply browsing social media. As for the price? The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G retails for PHP 29,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. There are also benefits and freebies for those that pre-order a unit. For that price, you do get a premium-looking phone packaged together with awesome features such as a nice camera and display. However, you do only get a mono-speaker and an older chipset, which is quite disappointing considering the other great features this phone has. But what do you think? Would you consider the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G as your next phone or would you choose between the other two models? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

This latest offering from OPPO definitely continues on with the lineage of the Reno series. It’s a phone that looks amazing — regardless of what colorway you end up choosing — and you’re getting a solid set of shooters that actually doesn’t have any filler cameras! Yup, no 2MP depth sensors here! However, as mentioned above, price-to-performance might be a tough pill to swallow for consumers in the country since we do have a host of options that offer a little bit more oomph in sheer computing power per peso spent.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G is a good buy for those looking for an affordable premium experience. It costs Rs 39,999 and comes with a 3D curved display, a telephoto lens, and 4K video recording. It faces tough competition from other brands like OnePlus, Nothing, and iQoo. However, if you are looking for a smartphone with the aforementioned features, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro is a good option.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro is perhaps one of the best designed smartphones under Rs 40,000. It not only looks good but it is also well-built and has a good in-hand feel. The phone scores big points for its good display and battery life. The performance unit is passable for the price as the competition offers far better value. Where the Reno 10 Pro 5G has a slight edge over the competition is its versatile camera system, which also features a good quality telephoto lens. However, the one area where it struggles is the software experience, which currently does not match the premium price. The phone is also not IP-rated and only has a single speaker. All in all, if you are looking for a phone which has a flagship-grade design and display, and a versatile camera setup, you can consider getting the Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G.

So that was the Oppo Reno 10 Pro. The smartphone is priced high, starting at ₹39,999 in India. In some cases, the smartphone does justify the value. We get a nice premium in-hand feel with a striking design and colour. The display is super accurate and responsive, offering an immersive experience every time users set their eyes on it, and the camera performance is also good, just the portraits and wide-angle lens can use a bit fine-tuning. It is the performance where the Oppo Reno 10 Pro lags way behind competition. The smartphone runs on a more than two years-old mid-range chipset from Qualcomm and the performance numbers show how far behind the smartphone is. So the answer is clear, if you are a power user who wants the best performance and battery experience from your device, there are better options available at a lower price. But if you are someone who wants a premium look and feel with a very good camera and display, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro may justify the steep price-tag for you.

At its price point of Rs. 39,999, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro offers a decent combination of a good display, great cameras, and more than enough battery life. However, it is let down by its two-year-old Snapdragon 778G processor which is simply not capable enough to handle long durations of graphic-intensive tasks. The highlight of the device is its 32MP telephoto camera which is a rarity these days even on flagship smartphones. So, if you're a camera-centric person, then the Reno 10 Pro can be a good option to go for. However, if you prefer performance over the camera, then you might be better off looking for alternatives, such as the new Nothing Phone 2, iQOO Neo 7 Pro, or the Pixel 7a.

The Reno series has always been about aesthetics and photographic capabilities, and the OPPO Reno 10 Pro continues that trend. In fact, the design is as refined as ever, but much more subdued than in the past, making the new OPPO look like other phones, and in a way stripping the series of its distinctive identity. Another change of course is represented by the curved display, which is not very favoured by a portion of users, and a more noticeable use of cheaper materials such as plastic. Personally, I prefer flat displays as I use my smartphone also for gaming, but it’s a matter of taste and usage patterns. Overall ergonomics have improved over the past with a slimmer profile and lighter weight. At the level of photo capabilities, OPPO has made a big step forward from the past. The absence of the Marisilicon X chip isn’t felt as much thanks to the optimisation of the imaging software.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 39,999 in India. However, if you are looking for a smartphone with better features at a similar price point, the online market has some attractive options to consider, even if they don’t have a telephoto lens. On the other hand, if you prefer shopping offline, you can explore the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G (review) and Vivo V27 Pro (review) smartphones. Both of these models boast beautiful AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Reno10 Pro 5G. Additionally, they offer an enhanced listening experience with stereo speaker output. The Vivo smartphone also comes with an interesting colour-changing design and a more power-efficient chipset. However, it’s worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and Vivo V27 Pro both lack the fast charging capabilities that you get with the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G smartphone.

The Oppo Reno10 Pro offers a decent enough package but one that is not free of flaws. The omission of things like stereo speakers and an ingress protection rating at this price point are major oversights. And even if these were present, the overwhelming sentiment surrounding the phone is that at its current pricing of around RM2,199 ($470/€430) in Malaysia and INR 39,999 ($490/€430) in India, it is just too expensive to truly be competitive. Prospective buyers are rightfully pointing towards the Snapdragon 778G chipset as well. While still offering a decent level of performance and fairly modern features, it is getting on in age and understandably putting off users. Having said all this, prices are always subject to change, and we need to try to evaluate the Reno10 Pro as a product independently as well. In our opinion, there is still plenty to like here.

And that’s about it in terms of differences between the Reno10 Pro+ versus the Reno10 Pro. The price gap between these two phones is huge. I’m talking about a RM1300 leap. This gap is mainly due to the chipset and also the optical zoom capability. But referring back to the OnePlus Nord 3 that we reviewed previously… I’ll say that this Reno10 Pro is way too expensive. They’re both at the same price but the Nord 3 comes with a Dimensity 9000 chipset, a version of ColorOS with no bloatware that is called OxygenOS, and the same charging speed.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G boots the latest ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13. The user interface is filled with many bloatware apps including some first-party apps from Oppo's native App Market such as HotApps, HotGames, Hot Free Games, and a bunch of third-party apps such as Josh, ShareChat, Tall Runner 3D, Candy Crush, etc. Oppo has promised to deliver two major Android updates and three years of security patches for the Reno 10 Pro 5G. Oppo claims that the Reno 10 Pro 5G 5G's 4,600mAh battery can be charged in about 28 minutes using the proprietary 80W SuperVOOC charging adapter. Under the hood, the device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with an Adreno 642L GPU. There's only one variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While this is not the most competitive SoC for its segment, can the Reno 10 Pro 5G still be a well-rounded package? Find out in the full review, coming soon.
