To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The frequency of 769 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8715 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

性能、排放和电池寿命

骁龙888 骁龙888名义上提供巨大的计算能力,并由12GB的LPDDR5内存支持。努比亚RedMagic 6R在系统模式下已经略微发热,但没有什么会让我们觉得讨厌的。这在负载下看起来有所不同。

这款游戏智能手机在正常负载测试中已经变热,表面温度高达52.9°C(约127°F)。这已经非常令人不快了。此外,系统在测试中中断了充电过程,以避免电池过热。在3DMark Wild Life压力测试中,RedMagic 6R完全不能说服人。它在两个变体中都简单地关闭了,因为它变得太热了。我们可以在智能手机的表面测量到57.6°C(约136°F),关闭后立即进行。RedMagic掌握了GFXBench,没有崩溃。不幸的是,我们无法读取结果,因为应用程序关闭了。然而,确定的总帧数显示,在测试期间,帧率被限制在60 FPS。

肩部按钮在游戏中令人信服,特别是在射击游戏中是一个真正的资产。在PUBG 等游戏中起作用的4D振动反馈相当不错,但有时调校得不太合适。流行的射击游戏的90赫兹模式被限制在最低的细节水平,但在更高的设置下也能顺利运行。这里也有明显的升温,但任何时候都不会变得令人不快。因此,由于冷却效果不佳,明显的限制是不可预期的,因为Snapdragon提供了足够的性能储备,而且Nubia在软件限制方面采取了预防措施。

下巴一侧的单声道扬声器提供了一个体面的声音,但对于一款游戏智能手机来说,它的尺寸有点小,位置也不合适。

电池运行时间不是特别长,而且RedMagic 6R在待机时也严重依赖自己的电池。让智能手机不插电过夜会浪费大约四分之一的电池电量。
