Display Response Times

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8743 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

性能和排放

Apple M1 SoC我们已经从 MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13Mac Mini.带8个GPU核心的iMac使用了两个风扇(带7个GPU核心的型号只有一个风扇),这就是性能稳定的原因。其结果与Mac Mini以及MacBook Pro 13持平。在实践中,iMac 24是一个反应极为迅速的系统,但旧的 英特尔型号提供更多的性能,特别是在多核测试中。

该系统只在有限的程度上适用于游戏,因为支持的作品不多。然而,由于ARM的基础,你可以访问Apple'的街机系列,你可以从 苹果手机iPads.我们也非常喜欢6个扬声器,可以轻松取代廉价的外部扬声器。Apple 巧妙地利用了机箱内的空间,内置模块对大多数用户来说完全足够。

附带的143瓦电源完全够用,而且仍有足够的储备用于Thunderbolt或USB-C配件,因为即使在全亮度的压力测试中,我们也能测出最大约79瓦的能量。

新款iMac 24 M1取代了之前的iMac 21.5,主要适用于使用M1处理器的日常任务。在这里,一体机也可以用静音操作来说服人,但在CPU高负荷工作时(如视频编辑),iMac会变得太吵,特别是与Mac Mini M1相比。较大的 iMac 27仍然在产品系列中,并通过英特尔CPU提供更多的性能,还可以配备更多的内存和专用GPU,因此它仍然是要求高的用户的更好(但也更昂贵)的解决方案。

新的23.5英寸IPS显示屏给人留下了非常好的印象,也适用于色彩准确的图片或视频编辑。用户体验得到了改善,特别是由于True Tone或敏感的亮度传感器等功能。新的扬声器系统也很有说服力,可以轻松取代许多廉价的外部扬声器。
