For those that are interested in the Lenovo Yoga 11S (and I’m sure many are because it’s a great bit of kit) I’ve put together two video reviews for you. They follow-on from the full review posted here last week and, as that review did, focuses on the value and performance of the Ivy Bridge Core i3 1.4Ghz version at $699.

Lenovo Yoga 11S Review (Ivy Bridge, Core i3, Low-Cost Version)
Source: Ultrabook News English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
3.1lbs of tablet isn’t that nice in casual usage and near impossible to use with one hand. The Yoga 11s is easier to handle than the Yoga 13 but 30% of the weight needs to be lost if it’s going to compete in the consumer tablet space. It works as an armchair tablet though where you might find yourself flipping back-and-forth to laptop mode which can often be easier for typing. One mode which works really well is an easel mode. When we tried this on the Yoga 13 the system registered the device as ‘in laptop mode’ which meant the touch keyboard didn’t appear. On the Yoga 11S that’s not the case. Watch TV and keep the Windows 8 Wikipedia app up and ready for action. Split-screen with Twitter perhaps? The Yoga 11s is a fantastic TV-buddy.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is clearly an improvement over the Yoga 11. It's powerful, lightweight and has a nice screen—easily one of the best 11-inch hybrids we've seen. The biggest drawback is its relatively low battery life, which nearly cost it its fourth star. Mobile devices these days need to be able to last more than just a few hours.

WIRED Sturdy build with strong hinge. Soft-touch finish is smudge- and fingerprint-proof. Great keyboard for typing. Cool motion-control bonus from Lenovo lets you pretend you’re in Minority Report. TIRED Power button is hard to find at first. (It’s at on the front left edge of the lip of the computer.) Last-generation processor. You’ll have to spend money for a sleeve or deal with a buttony back in tablet mode.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Convertible Notebook Review: A Game of Compromises
Source: PC Perspective English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S occupies an important middle ground between the larger-sized Yoga 13 (which is simply too cumbersome to serve as a reasonable tablet for many people) and the ARM-powered Yoga 11 (which, in spite of its superior battery life and silent operation, is handicapped by its inability to run Windows 8 and native x86 applications). But the real question is: does it manage to balance the most critical aspects of a great convertible properly, or do the trade-offs of the higher-powered chipset outweigh the benefits?

Typically with today's portable computers, you get to choose from either a laptop or a tablet. With the Lenovo Yoga 11S, you don't have to choose. The lid opens like a regular laptop but if you keep rotating it past 180-degrees, it folds flat against the back and turns into a tablet. When it's in tablet mode, the keyboard does lay outward.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Ultrabook Convertible Review
Source: Ultrabook News English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The build quality of the Lenovo Yoga 11S is very good aside from a little keyboard flex that I mentioned. The smart choice of soft/textured plastics definitely brings the quality feel up a notch over normal plastic alternatives. The ‘slot-in’ case (not included) is stylish and modern looking, which might appeal to those of you using the Yoga 11S in a work/meeting environment. If you’re looking for a light Ultrabook convertible, the Lenovo Yoga 11S get’s our vote, just be sure that the slower Y-series processor is up to your needs.

The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 11S has a unique design and is perhaps one of our favourite hybrid ultrabooks on the market. It's an ultra-flexible and powerful laptop with the option to convert into various different modes, making it a close to ideal hybrid laptop. Its HD display also offers a good touchscreen experience as well as high resolution for watching movies.

As I found with the Yoga 13, this system works well as a notebook. It’s thin and light enough to carry around with you throughout the day. Windows 8 combined with a large screen makes for a great tablet experience compared to the bevy of “standard” sized tablets on the market but there are some areas where it could be improved upon when used as a slate. Furthermore, for a system that is a good bit smaller than the original, I expected it to be a bit lighter on its feet or perhaps a tiny bit thinner. In reality, it’s only marginally lighter than its bigger brother and the exact same thickness. Ultimately if it were up to me, I’d sit on my funds a bit longer and wait for Haswell to find its way into Lenovo’s next convertible Ultrabook.

As a laptop, the Yoga 11S has lots to offer. It's a nice little machine that has impressed us in general use. There are some interesting things to note. For a start, we tested the Core i3 version of the machine, which doesn't seem to appear on the Lenovo site, but you can buy it from PC World and the like, for £700. We can certainly see it being a staple of university students and business users who need to travel a lot, but need a solid, reliable computer that you can type properly on, and despite that slightly odd keyboard, this machine still makes a nice place to work.

If you're in the market for a Windows 8 tablet or laptop you'd be remiss to not check out the Lenovo Yoga 11S. While it currently lacks a Haswell option, it's still plenty fast enough for whatever you want to do, with the exception of hardcore PC gaming. We took this model on several business trips and experienced nary a hiccup. On planes its diminutive size made it perfect for working or watching videos and it easily tucks away nicely into any bag you may be traveling with.

In closing, we’ve enjoyed using this machine for the past few weeks. The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 11S has a unique design, and could be one of my favorite hybrid/portables on the market. It’s made for the traveler, and can do it all whether you’re out and about, or sitting on the couch. With Lenovo you know it is top quality, and it shows during daily usage. The Yoga 11S is one of the most portable and flexible machines on the market, and now that we have full Windows 8 nothing will be slowing you down. Give us a similar design with Haswell and a bigger battery, and we’ll be plenty happy. In the meantime you can’t go wrong with the IdeaPad Yoga 11S. Get one today!

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S isn't a bad device by any means, but it does feel a tad too expensive for what it offers. The main draw for the device is its iconic design. The Lenovo Yoga's form factor with its 360 hinge design remains one of the best on the market. The device is able to switch between tablet to notebook mode and everything else in-between in the blink of an eye. However those devices also don't offer the flexibility and diversity of the Yoga design. Those looking for a versatile design and don't mind relinquishing on pure performance will be best served by the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S.

There are plenty of reasons to love Lenovo’s IdeaPad Yoga 11S: it’s compact and gorgeous, and the design is both flexible and practical. We sadly can’t recommend this Core i7 model, simply because the price is so steep – but the entry-level Core i3 model, coming in at a mere £699 inc VAT, is a great choice for anyone who doesn’t mind sacrificing a little more horsepower. The only thing which could make the IdeaPad Yoga 11S substantially better is a battery-extending Haswell processor. If you’re desperate to buy now, you won’t be disappointed, but we’ll be keeping our credit card on standby for the time being.

And if you need some convincing about Intel's newer chips offering significantly better battery life, take a gander at our Sony VAIO Pro 13 review. That system, with a larger, higher-resolution screen, lasted well over six hours on the same battery test, despite weighing more than half a pound less than the Yoga 11S.

The Yoga 11S, like so many other convertibles, tries to combine a decent laptop with a good-enough tablet. And, like the Yoga 13, this smaller sibling is more successful than most. We’re still a ways away from a convertible that can rival an iPad or Nexus 10 as a tablet, but Lenovo’s latest effort comes as close as any, and does so without sacrificing traditional PC strengths.

As an innovative next-generation form factor, the Lenovo Yoga 11S is a cool experiment and shows potential. As a usable laptop and convertible tablet, the Yoga 11S isn't quite all there yet. It's usable, yes, innovative, yes, but has far too short a battery life to replace both the laptop and tablet in your life. Maybe next year this will be an irresistible combo. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is an oddball laptop if you focus too much on its unusual hinge. Think of it as a side feature, however, and the truth is revealed. This is an attractive, versatile and thoroughly practical laptop. It’s best thought-of as a laptop first and a tablet second, as it’s a bit too heavy to carry for long periods and having a keyboard on the rear is not always desirable. But it’s a well-made, good-looking, powerful hybrid.

Pixel-packed performer. Last year’s Yoga 13 was one of the most popular Ultrabooks yet, and for good reason: while it wasn’t perfect, it was smartly-designed, with a unique (and sturdy) build and good performance for its price point. One year later, can Lenovo’s successor carry the torch?

Seriously, if you’re thinking about this machine, go to a store that has one, open up Notepad, and try typing a few paragraphs. If the keyboard doesn’t bother you, chances are you’ll fall in love with the rest of the machine, but if it does, we can say it’s something that does grow on you in time, but we’d still prefer to see a better version in a subsequent release. Perhaps in the next Yoga Pro, we’ll see Lenovo nail the formula altogether.

For an Ultrabook I really do not see much missing from the Yoga 2 Pro. Some may complain about only two USB ports, but that seems adequate. I currently use both, one for my portable hard drive and the other to charge my iPhone. The SD card reader definitely helps as that is what I would have needed another USB port for. All in all the Yoga 2 Pro is pretty much a perfect refresh to the original Yoga. There honestly is nothing I can really say bad about it. The model we reviewed sells for around $999.99, but there are other models available as well. Like its predecessor, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro isn’t perfect, but its novel hinge and impressive display certainly go a long way to make up for its flaws. At just under £1,000, it’s also roughly £250 less than other 3,200x1,800 resolution laptops such as the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus. The Yoga 2 Pro’s price also gives it a huge edge over other, similarly priced Ultrabooks with lower 1,920x1,080 resolutions. If you want a fun two-in-one device with a gorgeously detailed screen, the Yoga 2 Pro is the convertible laptop for you.

It wasn’t until we really got down to reviewing and testing the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro that we realized how good it actually was. This Core i7 version has some really impressive performance yes, but the the 360-degree screen on any Yoga 2 Pro allows interesting extended usage modes. But, and we think this is really important, it’s also a notebook that can be taken out of the box and used without any fuss at all. It performs perfectly. It’s quiet and has great battery life and from the style and build point-of-view it’s also really impressive. Our one reservation is with the screen which although it’s incredibly sharp causes some desktop software to become difficult to use at full resolution. The color cast issue could be an issue to some types of users and unfortunately that would include creative and media types that might be interested in the Yoga 2 Pro. A big red flag goes up to anyone needing 5Ghz Wi-Fi support because, strangely, it’s not available.

For the enterprise customer, the Yoga 2 Pro might be a great fit. Impromptu presentations become easier as the device flips into Tent orientation. Stand mode makes it easier to use while on a plane or train (or on the couch), and you’ll still enjoy all that Windows has to offer in any position you can bend it into. For the consumer, it’s an interesting niche device, but one that makes a few too many compromises for our liking.

On a technical level, Lenovo's Yoga 2 Pro is probably the best $1000 Windows laptop you can buy right now. The hardware you get for the same price as the entry-level 11-inch MacBook Air is better than what you'd get for that price from any other PC maker, Apple included: a 13-inch 3200x1800 IPS touchscreen, 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM, and Haswell-based Intel Core i5-4200U processor with integrated HD 4400 graphics. The Yoga 2 is a great laptop/tablet combo. Overall, it's one of the best I've seen at any price and quite usable in either role. Just don't expect the usual stellar Lenovo typing experience. I also wish Lenovo would do some future-proofing by offering an integrated 802.11ac adapter.

This is a great laptop. If you were to take the Yoga 2 Pro back in time 3 years and show it to anyone—including a TechRadar editor—they would have been ecstatic. This kind of performance and a 3200 x 1800 screen with over three hours of battery life was literally impossible on a Windows-based portable in 2010. Some of Lenovo's pre-loaded software borders on bloat, and we struggled to find more than handful of uses for half of the Yoga's operating modes. It's also a shame that the battery life is so low, for Haswell as least, but you are getting that gorgeous display as a trade off. For what you're paying, you're getting your money's worth.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro is summed up by the terms innovative hinge and brilliant screen. If those are what you are looking for, then by all means grab one and extensively try it out. That said, the current Editors' Choice Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus is a better touch-screen ultrabook overall with a similar brilliant QHD+ screen. The Yoga 2 Pro is innovative because of its flexible usage scenarios, but its overall weight and bulkiness keeps it from getting our highest recommendation. If you can't quite give up the clamshell form factor, the Yoga 2 Pro is well worth trying out, but please hold on to your receipt if you're expecting an Apple iPad-like$499.00 at Target.com experience from the Yoga 2 Pro's Tablet mode.

Lenovo took their original Yoga convertible design and made a huge number of improvements to it. The system is not only thinner and lighter than the original but packs an incredibly details display that is a thing to behold. The best part is that it is one of the most affordable convertible ultrabooks on the market. Sadly, the design is far from perfect as there are a number of compromises that were made likley to keep the prices down.

The Yoga 2 Pro packs a high-resolution display which is simply be overkill for those running basic productivity software and is suitable for those using video and photo editing tools. While the Yoga 2 Pro offers a very good laptop / tablet combination, it ultimately makes an excellent laptop more so than a tablet. This is down to two things – the first with Windows not being the most pretty to use in Portrait mode, and the second being that it’s still a bit weird to feel the keys at the back of the device when it’s folded into tablet mode. However, these are far from deal breakers, and at the end of the day the Yoga 2 Pro is probably one of the best Ultrabooks I’ve seen this year. Its beautiful design combined with decent hardware make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a superior yet affordable Ultrabook.

There’s no question that the Yoga 2 Pro is a triumph. It’s lighter, stronger, prettier and all-round better than before. And, somehow, Lenovo has managed to deliver all this for only £1,000. We have to be realistic: the high-DPI display is more of a limitation than a benefit at this time, but at this price, we’d be more than willing to put up with the occasional annoyance. It’s a remarkable achievement.

a high-end Ultrabook that's actually affordable
Source: Engadget English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Yoga 2 Pro addresses many of our complaints about the original: The display is sharper and the overall package has been slimmed down so that it's noticeably thinner and lighter. At the same time, the Yoga 2 Pro is still the most versatile Windows convertible we know of. It's also well-built, with a sturdy hinge and build materials that dutifully hide all your grimy fingerprints.

While we don’t have any hard sales numbers, we have strong suspicions that Lenovo’s original IdeaPad Yoga was one of the more successful convertibles of the last year, if not one of the more successful PCs, period. With a stunning Retina-besting display, and a slimmer exterior, Lenovo’s Yoga 2 Pro is better in every way than last year’s model, save for battery life.

The only other thing we could recommend for a follow-up Yoga is adding one more USB port considering having only two tends to keep your options of what to connect to them pretty slim. The Yoga 2 Pro is a great addition to Lenovo’s line of ultrabooks that has us excited to see what the company does next with the line. As long as they continue to churn out more ultrabooks like the Yoga 2 Pro, and less like the Flex 14, we’ll happily continue to recommend them.

The all-around best-in-class example of a first-generation Windows 8 hybrid was the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga, a clever fold-back laptop-turned-tablet that was almost universally liked in both its 13-inch and 11-inch versions. Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro hands-on review: Set to be the best hybrid around
Source: Tech Advisor English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Yoga 2 Pro still has the same cleverly hinged design allowing the screen to rotate almost a full 360 degrees. This means it can transform into four modes which Lenovo call laptop, tent, stand and tablet. Once again the device has a premium and luxurious feel and it's been made thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It’s now just under 1.4 kg and a slender 15.5 mm thick. The Yoga 2 Pro can be summed up as sleek.

Hands on: Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 2 Pro review
Source: Techradar English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga was a flip in the right direction for Ultrabooks when it was first released. But it offered in style points - the ability to bend the laptop to your viewing preference - it didn't really match in spec appeal. Having an Ivy Bridge processor inside and given a rather low-res 1,600 x 900 display means you are never going to win any awards in the power stakes.

As an all in one device this is one of the most flexible we've seen. Not only has Lenovo crammed a stunning screen and powerful specs into a body 10 per cent slimmer than the last model - but it's done it with thought. Gesture and voice controls are the next logical step for a device that acts as a screen on a stand. We'd bend over backwards to get one of these.

Kicking it. The innovative IdeaTab Yoga Tablet 10 comes with an integrated kickstand which allows switching between what Lenovo calls stand, hold, and tilt mode. Is this standout feature enough to differentiate the tablet with its middle-of-the-road hardware and average feature set from the competition?

You can't help but wonder how much those quirky embelishments and fancy materials have increased costs, though, and it's meant that corners have been cut in the most vital areas - display quality and power. It's a big tablet for little money, though, and that distinctive design and excellent battery life will make it appealing to many - just don't let the premium aesthetics fool you into thinking the innards are equally high-end.

Being brutally honest, probably not. While we like the design and are very impressed with the battery life, it just feels like another also-ran in the incredibly competitive Android tablet space. Its specifications are pretty average and benchmarks suggest a weaker performance than cheaper machines like the Tesco Hudl and even the aging iPad 2. On top of that, the 1,280 x 800 screen resolution is lower than some mobile phones.

Gaming ability is likewise below par. In the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex HD test, it gained a score of 4.8fps, a long way behind modern tablets such as the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9in, which scored 14fps. This is most clearly illustrated in the Tablet 10's skipping and faltering frame rate while playing demanding 3D games such as Asphalt 8: Airborne, a task that ultimately proved too much for it.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet review: long battery life in an otherwise disappointing device
Source: Engadget English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Lenovo's Yoga Tablet has potential, but ultimately the device feels unfinished. It's a slate with good hardware, complete with a clever kickstand design, that rides on the esteemed Yoga name. Lenovo relied way too heavily on that branding, though; unlike the Ultrabooks with their largely high-caliber specs, the tablet sports an unacceptably mediocre display, packs a sluggish processor and delivers a bizarrely skinned version of Android 4.2.

At $300 the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 is priced favorably against other 10-inch tablets (unlike it's 8-inch sibling), but you get what you pay for. I was genuinely surprised (in a good way) by the Lenovo Yoga Tablet design and overall philosophy, and at the same time, I’m pleased to see that instead of trying to go head-to-head against Nexus 7 Lenovo carved a space for its Android tablet. I'll give Lenovo credit here: The Yoga Tablet is a well-built, attractive, and affordable 10-inch tablet. But where it matters most, the Yoga Tablet still lacks any truly compelling aspect to elevate it above the competition. The display is good, but not great. The performance is good, but not great. The software is, well, just not great. The Yoga Tablet is a good tablet at a good price. But unfortunately for Lenovo, there are too many great tablets at a great price, like the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" for $60 more ($379) or a smaller screen tablet like the Nexus 7 for $229.

Lenovo Yoga 10: Mediocre tech, yes, but beautifully fondleable
Source: Reg Hardware English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
In line with its asking price, the Yoga 10 has a mediocre screen resolution and a mid-range chipset, but it still does everything you are likely to want a tablet to do and with a decent lick of speed. What separates it from the herd is the rather clever form-factor, which pays dividends should you wish to pop it on a desk or hold it in your hand. If you plan on using your tablet primarily for reading books, watching videos or video chatting then the stand-me-up and sit-you-down stand options and ergonomic bulge are well worth having.

Neither tablet scores particularly well in our benchmarks and you'll like find it in line with the performance of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 released in mid-2012. It was more than capable of handling web browsing and playing back video content but for advanced Android game the Yoga Tablets will likely suffer.

70% A Lenovo tablet that can do a little bit of yoga

f you are looking for a 10-inch Android tablet, you can do worse than the Yoga 10 HD+, but if its key features are not important to you, devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 come in at a similar price. As a combined Android tablet for media consumption and a bit of work, the Yoga is appealing with its front facing stereo speakers enhancing media consumption and the stand working well with a Bluetooth keyboard connected.

Lenovo have certainly been listening to consumer feedback, and it’s evident in the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+. The company has all-out eliminated most of the hassles that plagued the previous model, and come up with a robust Android tablet that will power through several days without quitting. Interestingly enough, there’s also an optional keyboard cover if you want a quicker typing experience, but sadly that didn’t come along for me to review. If you’re in the market for an Android tablet that looks different yet does what you need it to, you’ve found it here.

Lenovo’s innovative stand works well when it comes to propping up its latest tablet, and the Yoga keeps going for longer than any rival thanks to a huge battery. The screen is fantastic, with a big resolution bump over its predecessor. The trade-off is a chunkier, heavier design and mid-range performance. It’s a great option if longevity is important and you’re looking for a bargain when compared to pricier, top-tier tablets.

For $150 less than premium Android tablets and the iPad Air, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is a pretty strong value. The slate sports a handy kickstand, loud speakers, and enough battery life to make it through a full day of work and play. Unfortunately, the tablet's sluggish performance makes it a poor choice for demanding games, while users who are picky about color quality won't like the 1080p display.

Swiftly responding to user comments, Lenovo improved the biggest flaws of its first 10-inch Yoga Tablet -- display resolution and insufficiently powerful chipset -- and has replaced a barely average model with one of the best mid-range devices available on the market. Thanks to a better screen, noticeably greater performance and a comfortable, modern, and recognizable body, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ holds up against more expensive, premium devices.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ hands-on review: 10in tablet gets much-needed power & display boost
Source: Tech Advisor English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
We're certainly pleased to see that Lenovo has improved the display and processor of the Yoga Tablet 10 with the new HD+ model, without pushing up the price tag too much or putting a strain on the battery. The camera boost and design tweaks are a nice bonus, too. We're looking forward to putting the tablet through some further testing to find out just how much faster it is, and provide our final verdict for the device.

80% Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro: Still the most stylish convertible around?
Source: T3 English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Yoga 3 Pro remains an impressive accomplishment in design. It’s thin and light and catches the eye in a manner that few laptops can thanks to its watchband hinge-style. The problem, then, partly lies around Lenovo’s switch to Intel’s Core M processor. Its inclusion in the Yoga 3 Pro allows it to be thin, but like Apple’s 12-inch MacBook, it comes at the expense of raw power. Added to (in parts) poor build quality, shoddy speakers and battery life that has you constantly fearful of running out of juice, the Yoga 3 Pro's eye-catching design soon loses its allure.

This laptop design is truly amazing and extremely likable. The multi-mode positions, ultra-light weight (2.62 Lbs) and a beautiful hi-DPI display are the killer features of the Yoga 3 Pro. However, the performance is not as high as I had hoped. Whether it is to compress video or, just in general, coming from a faster Core i5 or Core i7 system, the difference is noticeable.

Source: Tech2.in.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
But this is not a workhorse in the traditional sense of the word. You cannot do heavy lifting such as video editing. Granted this laptop is not meant for that kind of work. If you are planning to transcode video, again it will be really slow on this. The battery life, something which should have been at least the promised 7.2 hours, is nowhere close. That is the biggest drawback.

Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is a beautifully designed ultrabook and the slim form factor along with the light weight is a boon if you are the kinds who have to carry a laptop to work daily. The 3200 x 1800 pixel display is one of the best we have seen on a laptop. Touch response and using the Yoga 3 Pro in various modes, specially stand and tent mode for movies and presentations is really cool. In terms of performance, the Yoga 3 Pro can do most of the regular tasks such as surfing the web, watching HD movies, working on office suites, even working with Adobe Lightroom for photo editing.

This is a laptop you can show off anywhere, but not necessarily one you can get any serious work done on. If you are a power user you will encounter several frustrations. While the screen looks great at first, it feels very constricted to work on. There's a large SSD and lots of RAM, but the processor isn't really suited for heavy workloads.

We had high hopes for the Yoga 3 Pro, but it’s safe to say that these were dashed during testing. While it’s light and easy on the eye, it underachieves in almost every other area. Average performance and unremarkable battery life mark an undistinguished debut for Intel’s Core M architecture, and a subpar display and iffy keyboard layout leave ample room for improvement.

Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro: First Impressions
Source: NDTV Gadgets English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Clearly, there will be a very small audience of buyers for the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. Lenovo declined to comment on how many units it expected to sell, but it knows there won't be many. The company hopes that it will become something of a halo product, serving to demonstrate its engineering and design prowess. For that reason, the device will be available only at Croma retail outlets and a small number of Lenovo's own brand stores. Both Croma and Lenovo's websites will offer it too, though you should really check it out in person before deciding whether or not to drop more than a lakh on it.

70% Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro-1370 review: lightweight ultraportable laptop converts to Windows tablet, offers decent battery life and good performance
Source: Tech Advisor English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is a lightweight ultraportable that can convert into a Windows 8 tablet. Don't be misled by the name – the Yoga 3 Pro is far from a professional notebook, foretold by Lenovo's choice of Windows consumer operating system. Overall battery life is better than budget laptops although we had hoped for more like 10 hours with the novel low-power processor. Overall system performance was impressive given the low clock frequency, with graphics potentially sufficient to run some Windows games at lowest settings.

80% Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro review: Design delight, but pricey
Source: Pocket Lint English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro shows off the company's new do-it-all hinge design and is a triumph in terms of versatility. But it's also a pricey bit of kit, tipping the scales at close to £1,300. Considering the super slim design, the Yoga 3 Pro crams in impressive Intel Core M specs and flexes its muscles where it matters. The only exception is that battery life could go a little further - but it does the job for most of the day without the need to lug a charger about.

At the end of the day the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro not only exceeded our expectations but earned a spot as “the best premium 2-in-1 currently available.” The winning recipe boils down to thinner and lighter multi-mode design combined with the performance and fan-free cooling of the new Intel Core M processors, lightning-quick SSD and a smart power adapter jack that doubles as a USB port.

I am torn over the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. On the one hand, it's the ideal Ultrabook with tons of use cases and a fantastic form factor. On the other hand, it doesn't live up to my expectations for a device of this price, leaving me feeling a little disappointed. I love the form factor. The Yoga 3 Pro is slim, sleek and sexy, featuring a classy aluminium shell and Gorilla Glass-protected display, complemented by an 800-piece watchband hinge that looks fantastic (some may disagree). It's also one of the lightest Ultrabooks going around, making it very portable and the perfect choice for the user always on the move.

Will and Norm sit down to discuss the new Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, which is the first laptop we've seen to utilize Intel's Broadwell chipset. While more power efficient than the processor used in last year's Yoga and even the Surface Pro 3, the Core-M CPU here isn't without its compromises. Thinner and lighter doesn't always mean better!

In practical use, it's a good thing the Yoga 3 Pro can hang with most ultrabooks performance-wise. To be perfectly honest (which is what you come here for), it's utility as a tablet is somewhat limited. It's just too big and bulky, with its 13-inch frame to be manageable for more than casual use in this mode.

There's something to be said for a 2.6-pound laptop. It's sexy; it's that much easier to carry around; and, uh, did I mention it's sexy? On a serious note, though, I hope that over time, super-light laptops like this come with fewer trade-offs. As it stands, the Yoga remains the most versatile Ultrabook on the market, with a sturdy 360-degree hinge, brilliant screen and zippy performance.

It's not that manufacturers haven't been up to the task, and it's not that Windows hasn't been a respectable operating system. We could wish for a little less bezel and a little more screen, considering the Yoga's size. Finally, this 2-in-1 didn't delight us in tablet mode, exhibiting excessive flex on top of the fact that it's just too big.

After a week of using the Yoga 3 Pro, I get the feeling that this is a premium laptop for users who don't need a powerful computer. The $1300 price--which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage--seems high for the relatively limited computing performance, so you're paying more for the high resolution screen and the formfactor. That may be worth it for people who don't need to do heavy computing, so battery life may be the deciding factor here.

Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro review
Source: Expert Reviews English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
At £1,300, the Yoga 3 Pro one of the most expensive Ultrabooks available today. It’s also £300 more than a top-spec MacBook Air, although the Apple machine lacks a high resolution display, has less memory and doesn’t also double up as a tablet. Given the battery life improvements and slimmer dimensions, the Yoga’s position as the best convertible laptop has been cemented here. Picture quality may be a slight reduction over the outgoing model, but it's only slight, so if you're looking for lightweight Windows laptop there's no doubt this is the one to buy.

87% Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro Review
Source: T Break English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
With an updated screen and a unique hinge design, the Yoga 3 Pro carries forward much of what was great about the original device. The newer processor is certainly fast enough to keep up with most of your daily tasks, and you’ll actually find yourself at some point or the other using the different Yoga modes. If you’re in the market for a stylish notebook that defies the traditional look and feel, then this one is for you.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 3
Source: Trusted Reviews English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
That caveat aside, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 looks like a great laptop. It builds on the concept of a ‘four mode’ laptop, an idea Lenovo has pioneered, making it so much thinner and lighter that it makes me wonder what else it could achieve with smaller version. For now, though, we have this 13-inch version and it looks stunning.

Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, First Take: Thin, light and flexible
Source: Zdnet.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Lenovo's London launch event last night saw the introduction of three new members of the world-number-one PC maker's Yoga line of 'multimode' computers: the 13-inch Android-based Yoga Tablet Pro 2 with a unique built-in projector; the Yoga Tablet 2, available in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes, running Android or Windows; and the 13-inch Yoga 3 Pro, an impressively thin and light convertible Windows ultrabook. We came away with a review sample of the latter, and here are our first impressions.

But before you put your hands into your pockets, it's worth noting that the Yoga 3 Pro is one of the first Core M devices to race out of the traps, and others are expected to follow soon. Thinner and lighter is set to become the norm, and with fanless designs on the horizon, we should expect to see even more experimental models that won't break the bank in the near future.

60% Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro review - the 1st projector tablet

There's lots to like about the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. We like the hinge design, the big screen, the speakers and even the built-in projector. However, we're not happy with performance, which compares badly with models that cost a quarter of the price, and its 7h 22m battery life is below average.

Lenovo has been bold with its latest tablet and, in some areas, it pays off: the stand and projector add office versatility, and the big screen offers good quality and a laptop-style experience. Build quality and design are top-notch, too. However, all of that is undermined by the Yoga’s size, weight and oddball design, as well as rivals that offer more power for less cash and bulk.

60% Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 13-inch

The Yoga Tablet 2 13-inch with Windows has a mouthful of a name, and at $600, a hard-to-swallow price. Yes, the quad-HD screen is great, and I like that you get more than 10 hours of battery life. However, this tablet is too expensive for a media-consumption device, and it's not powerful enough to be a real laptop replacement (and the keyboard doesn't like staying attached, either).

The one ever so slight thing that lets the tablet down is the price, at approx £400 (current price on Amazon) it basically comes in above most other Android tablets. Yes you get a lot of decent stuff for that price, you have to ask yourself a question, are the larger high res display, 32GB of inernal storage, some fancy speakers and a projector enough to warrant that cost? I guess if you want large Android tablet with decent specs, decent speakers and a projector then you’d say yes. But if you just want an Android tablet to browse the web on and to use to order your Asda shopping on I’d say look elsewhere.

Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro With Built-In Projector

Overall, the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro performed well in many of our benchmark tests. In real-world use, the tablet was very responsive as well. We have mixed feelings about Lenovo’s custom skin that runs on top of Android KitKat. It wasn’t bad, but we also didn’t feel like it added a ton of extra functionality.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is a rare bird. In a year where tablets were more ho-hum than cutting-edge, the tablet-projector hybrid breathes a refreshing air of innovation onto the slate scene. Like all tablets, it's not without its faults, but if you can look past the hapless Android skin, it's an attractive option with fun and functional features.

Lenovo's unorthodox multi-mode Android tablets have always boasted striking looks, but middling performance and unnecessarily heavy software customizations usually spoil the appeal. Those issues still remain here, but to a smaller degree—they're far more tolerable in this iteration, especially considering the unique features you get in the bargain. At $470, it's pushing into iPad territory, but you're getting a much larger display and the built-in projector. No, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro won't replace your home theater, but it makes for a nice complimentary and portable device for solitary media binges.

60% Yoga Tablet 2 Pro review: Solid productivity features can't make up for its crummy interface
Source: PC World English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Lenovo knows what professionals want because it’s been in the business of catering to that particular clientele for years. As it figures out its Android strategy here in the U.S., I hope the awful launcher and crapware doesn’t continue to seep into its Android product lineup. Motorola can teach the company a thing or two about how to make an innovative device without suffocating stock Android with obnoxious overlays and confusing features.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 & Yoga Tablet 2 Pro review
Source: Androidcommunity.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
For the rest of the world, these two tablets are an easy recommendation. Though I’m not a fan of heavy Android skins, Lenovo has done it in a crafty way. Like the easier-to-grasp iOS, everything is right up front on the Yoga Tablet 2 and 2 Pro. I think for the average user, the learning curve here will be minimal.

A brilliant QHD display, booming JBL speakers, a handy onboard kickstand and a built-in projector make Lenovo's handsome Yoga Tablet 2 a winning multimedia device that could almost replace your TV. Plus, nifty software customizations make the Android slate easy to use. Though I wish it offered longer endurance and a brighter picture in projector mode, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro packs in a ton of fun for its price.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro from Lenovo is a decent tablet, but it's big. It's hard to find a way to use it comfortably given the size, and it requires a large surface to set it down and use it. Its weight (2.09 pounds) doesn't facilitate using it in the hand for very long.

Yoga Tablet 2 and Tablet 2 Pro review: Innovative but imperfect
Source: Computerworld.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Here we are a year later -- and sadly, it's the same exact story: This year's Yoga Tablet 2 and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro are cool concepts that come up short. Despite their clever forms and commendable stamina, they suffer from underwhelming displays, subpar performance and one of the oddest and most confusing user interfaces I've ever encountered. No matter how much I want to like them, their deficiencies are just too foundational and the resulting user experience too poor to be forgiven.

If you're in the market for a massive tablet, the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro Review is pretty awesome. The only real competition this device has at the moment is the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 which, if you're buying straight from Samsung, will cost you about $150 more than this Lenovo product. There's also no projector there, but there is an S Pen - so that's the... very strange trade off.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is a great entertainment tablet to have around the house, simply because its size makes it perfect for watching video content as you lounge about the house. Its various usability modes also means that you can find some sort of angle to best use the device in. The projector feature is certainly an interesting idea, and under the right conditions it’s actually pretty cool. At $500 it’s a bit steep, but truthfully speaking if you’re looking for a decent-sized tablet specifically for your home, or you think the projector feature would be something you’d use at work, then this is definitely the tablet for you.

Luxurious Digital Frame. It is easy to confuse the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8 with a digital picture frame. However, thanks to its kickstand and Windows 8.1, the device has a lot more to offer.

If you need a compact tablet for casual use -- with a productivity-centered approach -- the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 stands out from similar 8-inch Windows tablets, thanks to its versatile stylus functionality and thoughtful design. If a stylus and handy-dandy kickstand are of no importance, there are better choices out there.

Lenovo's Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen is a capable Windows 8 tablet, if you're willing to live in the confines of an 8-inch window. Though lacking a full USB port and HDMI-out, this slate offers great ergonomics and long battery life.

Yes, it's heavier than other 8-inch tablets, but the $229 Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 makes the most of its bulbous design. The handy kickstand design let me use this slate more often and in more places, and its battery outlasts all of its competitors. I also like the powerful speakers. There are cheaper Android options with the same size screen.

Lenovo's function-over-fashion approach effectively helps its models stand out (pun not intended) in a crowded room of tablets. Though people who know their way around Android will be disappointed by its stripped-down features, the Yoga 2 is one of the best budget options.

With the tablet market being entirely over-congested, building a tablet that stands out among the competition is extremely important. The Tablet 2 8-inch doesn’t offer the best specifications, build quality or software experience on the market, but for the price, this tablet offers a unique design, a great screen, and a gaming experience that can rival some of the best tablets on the market.

For the rest of the world, these two tablets are an easy recommendation. Though I’m not a fan of heavy Android skins, Lenovo has done it in a crafty way. 1, 2, Yoga 3。 联想将一块14寸屏幕放进了与去年的Yoga 2 13相近大小的机身中,同时也更新了它的硬件配置。新的Yoga 3 14继承了前代产品的主要特性,同时在一些方面有了改进,但在另外一些方面也有所退步。

Lenovo’s Yoga 3 14 stacks up well to the Acer Aspire R13 and HP Spectre x360 both in terms of performance and price. There is a lot to love about this machine when you consider the above average build quality, respectable benchmarks, intuitive keyboard and touchpad layout, and a convertible form factor. The Yoga 3 14 is an excellent choice for road warriors or students seeking a lightweight notebook with a mid-sized screen and robust battery life. The Yoga’s unique hinge only adds to the versatility and enjoyment.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro's design, with its watchband-like single hinge constructed of more than 800 individual pieces of steel and aluminum and fanless chassis measuring a mere 12.8mm thick, is strikingly different from its predecessors. It might not have the style of the Yoga 3 Pro, but the Lenovo Yoga 3 14 more than makes up for it in battery life, system performance and price.

Call me superficial, but I was rooting for this laptop the second I took it out of the box. It's so pretty and versatile that I wanted everything to go right, so that I could rush and tell my family and friends to order it. Unfortunately, beneath the hood, this device performs on par with similarly priced hybrids that weigh a lot less. If you're like me and love the Yoga 3 14's design, you're probably better off spending a little bit more money on the lighter and slightly less powerful Yoga 3 Pro.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 14 shows improvements over the 13-inch Lenovo Yoga 2 13, like a larger screen, while retaining a thin profile and its 360-degree Yoga hinge. It's a well-equipped laptop whose convertible form factor offers greater flexibility in terms of how you can use it, and it has the best battery life in its category. For now, however, the best convertible-hybrid laptop does not necessarily come from the company that pioneered the 360-degree hinge.

In price, performance, and design, the Yoga 3 is unfortunately outclassed on nearly every front. The loud fans, dim display, and awkward ergonomics make the Yoga 3 feel like a relic of the past compared to the slick designs of the R13 and T300 Chi. It just doesn’t feel very mobile. The 14” display, heavy weight, and wobbly hinge make the Yoga 3 feel more like a last-gen laptop than a truly versatile convertible device.

Featuring a solid set of components (i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD), a sturdy hinge and a fairly strong 8 hours of battery life, the Yoga 3 14 is a fine 2-in-1. However, the HP Spectre x360 does almost everything just a bit better (screen brightness, performance and battery life) for just $50 more, and it's prettier, too. The Yoga 3 14 is a good 2-in-1 for the money, but it's not our top choice.

If you're familiar with Lenovo's laptops, particularly with its new Yoga machines, then you'll find the Yoga 3 14 feels like something you've seen before, but with its own little tweaks that make it unique. In this case, it's the brushed metal surface surrounding the keyboard that gives it a unique flavor, and it is beautiful to behold. That aside, the PC is akin to many of the other laptops we've reviewed from Lenovo in past months, and that's not a bad thing for those who like the brand.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 11 is a phenomenal laptop that is both silent and fanless. It is small and thin, making it a wonderful travel companion. I can easily slide it in and out of my backpack, while the light weight prevents back pain too. True, the Core M processor is not a powerhouse, but it is quite peppy. When paired with 8GB of RAM, it is a very capable machine for all but the most tasking programs, such as video encoding and Photoshop. For everything else, it offers great performance.

We like the SSD as standard in this third-generation model. It's only more demanding programs that are limited by the processor's performance.

Lenovo has a new Yoga laptop, the Yoga 3 11 (because it's, you know, an 11-inch model), which we’ve recently detailed in a full review. In case you missed it, we’re back with the most pertinent highlights about the system, the things you’re likely to want to know before you make the plunge — both good and bad. Lenovo Yoga 3 11 review — lightweight and ultra-flexible
Source: Slashgear English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
If you're looking for a laptop that is both a proper notebook and a proper ultrabook, the Yoga 3 11 absolutely fits the bill. There's no odd modernist designs, no cumbersome detachable parts, no bulkiness being shoehorned into ultrabook claims -- it is merely a very lightweight, thin, and flexible laptop with a simple design, and that makes it an excellent product.

I’m a fan of Lenovo’s Yoga range, but for $1749 I expect a great display and ergonomic design as standard. The Yoga 3 doesn’t deliver on either count. In fact, it doesn’t really deliver on the Yoga concept at all: it’s too bulky to use effectively as a tablet, while limited connectivity and a middling screen make it a poor laptop. I suggest you check out the Asus Zenbook UX303LA instead: it’s faster, better-looking and far more refined.

75% A 2-in-1 worth considering for mainstream users
Source: Tech2.in.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga 3 14-inch model is priced at Rs 86,990 which may seem like a high price. But the appealing factors for this laptop include the slim form factor and light weight, which will come at a premium. This immediately makes it a laptop to consider for business as well as mainstream users. The battery life is good enough to last you through an entire work day and the processor is powerful enough to let you do things beyond just regular web surfing and watching videos.

Rather than update its 13" Yogas for 2015, Lenovo has introduced a new 14" model. The range now comprises three Yogas in all: an 11-inch (the Yoga 3 11), a 13-inch (the Yoga 3 Pro) and this 14-inch (the Yoga 3 14), which we're reviewing here. The Yoga 3 14 is a versatile convertible laptop that's easy to carry around and has long battery life. Its only major issues are overheating and unfaithful screen colors.

Lenovo Yoga 3 (14-inch) review – a powerful convertible that you can actually afford
Source: Laptop Media English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Just like its predecessor, the Lenovo Yoga 3 (14-inch) is available at a quite reasonable price for the features it offers. The build quality isn’t the best out there, but it definitely delivers more than expected, again for the given price. Hinges are a bit overtighten and yet again, the screen wobbles when using the touch panel and this might be our only major complaint in the design department. However, it’s good to consider the fact that the unit we have reviewed here is a testing sample, so the final unit might be lacking this issue. It’s rare to come across a device in this class that features IPS panel so this can be considered as a great plus, but don’t get your hopes too high as our tests show poor color gamut coverage leading to inaccurate color reproduction and furthermore – screen flickering across all brightness levels.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a long-lasting tablet with a vivid display, awesome speakers and a built-in projector that's pretty fun, even if it's not the most powerful. If you don't plan to beam content onto a wall, you should consider other alternatives, like the Pixel C, which has a more colorful display and better performance.

So, if you're looking for a tablet that can project your favorite movies and YouTube videos, and you're willing to shell out $500, the Tab 3 Pro is a solid choice. If video isn't your primary concern, however, you might be able to get more use out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, thanks its superior multitasking abilities. If it's apps you're after, there's still no better large-screen tablet than our Editors' Choice, the Apple iPad Air 2. And if you're looking to save some money, the 8-inch Asus Zen Pad S offers a lot of bang for your buck.

75% Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro Review
Source: Phone Arena English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Its more compact size makes it more travel-friendly, but they’ve addressed some design concerns we had with the previous model – namely the placement of the projector and certain aspects of the software. What’s really swell in all of this, is that it strikes a chord with both multimedia buffs and professionals that want to get work done. Indeed, its $499.99 price point means that it’s competing against the like of the Apple iPad Air 2, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch, and even the Google Nexus 9, but it certainly offers an entertaining package for the money. The specs are good, the software is improved, the battery life is long lasting, and the projector certainly has its added benefits.

Review: YOGA Tab 3 Pro — it’s all about the projector
Source: Slashgear English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The YOGA Tab 3 Pro is, first and foremost, a beautiful tablet. Whether you get much use out of the projector doesn’t matter much when looking at the product as a whole. The display is beautiful, and the hinge is an equal mixture of unique and functional. Add to this the leather back, front-facing speakers, durable construction, built-in projector, and more...well, to put it lightly, the tablet does everything a tablet should and more. Of course, the projector is a big part of the tablet and unless you’re very picky or expecting more than you should, you’ll be very satisfied with it. Being able to fire up a movie on the ‘big screen’ for impromptu movie nights was unexpectedly fun, and despite the projector’s small size, it held its own well.

If you're in the market for a well-rounded media device it’s easy to fall in love with the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro. The performance issues and the bulky design might be deal breakers for a select few, but on the whole this thing handles like a premium tablet should and pulls together elements that are hard to find all in one place. For £399 you get a metal-bodied tablet with an integrated kickstand, a vibrant QHD screen, great battery life, and expandable memory – that alone sounds like a good package, but the added benefit of the projector is the cherry on top of an already tempting offering from Lenovo and the most impressive Yoga tablet yet.

Review: Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro
Source: PC Authority English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a tablet that doesn’t play by the conventional rules of the game. It’s quite heavy, pretty chunky and has a projector built into its hinge. Don’t barrel in thinking you can replace your TV with this tablet. To do so would be a silly move. The projector’s fun to play with but looks terrible in all but the darkest rooms. It is certainly a media device, though, with its stand and decent battery life propelling it into the tablet big leagues. Honestly, having expected to turn my nose up at the Tab 3 Pro, I’m kind of smitten with the thing.

It's a shame about the software side of things and the projector, because otherwise the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a decent tablet. It has a fabulous screen, good all-round performance and battery life, and the speakers are amazing.
