维护

键盘
两级背光键盘也更接近笔记本电脑的主流,外侧的按键不再有ThinkPad典型的U型键形式。联想还将键盘整体强行改为矩形,并取消了ThinkPad惯用的方向键的凹槽。连同这一变化,图像上/下键也被取消。最后,联想还调换了Ctrl和Fn键,现在Ctrl键在外面。
提供的按键行程只有1.35毫米(约0.053英寸),按键又比目前许多其他ThinkPad笔记本电脑的按键更细。例如,X1 Extreme 提供1.5毫米(约0.059英寸)。此外,按键的顶部更平坦。这导致打字体验感觉不那么豪华,也不太符合ThinkPad的特点。然而,与戴尔XPS和MacBook Pro相比,该键盘仍然更好,提供了一个清晰明了的压力点,阻力也恰到好处。在28.5厘米(约11.2英寸)处,键盘也有完整的标准宽度。
TrackPad和TrackPoint
不再多说了。Z16拥有目前所有ThinkPad中最好也是最大的TrackPad(12 x 8厘米)。其表面是由哑光玻璃制成的,就像掌托一样。这具有极高的质量,也确保了理想的滑动特性。ClickPad的触觉电机,模拟真实的点击,也非常好。ClickPad可以在任何地方均匀地点击,与通常的机械式TrackPads相比,你只能在底部区域进行点击。凭借其高质量的触觉、软件实现和宽敞的尺寸,ThinkPad笔记本电脑可以非常舒适地使用触摸板进行操作。
