技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box 是一款外置显卡,可通过 Thunderbolt 与电脑连接。正如其名称所显示的,技嘉使用的是 Nvidia Aorus RTX 4090 显卡。 NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090在这里。此外还包括一个 AiO 冷却解决方案。而不是 移动GeForce RTX 4090因此,技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box 配备了 24 GB VRAM 工作内存。在功耗方面,技嘉符合规定的限制,这意味着显卡的功耗最高可达 450 瓦。要达到如此高的数值,需要非常高的负载,而在普通台式机系统中使用 NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090 时,主要是在玩高要求游戏时达到极高的分辨率和高细节级别。

外壳 - 铝质,带一些不规则装饰

对于做工质量,我们没有任何抱怨。从外观上看,技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒的正面有一个发光的徽标。技嘉控制中心允许您在这里选择各种照明效果,但不喜欢照明效果的用户也可以完全关闭它们。
软件 - 技嘉控制中心
建议安装技嘉控制中心,以便对技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒进行必要的调整。当前版本可直接从制造商处下载。在测试过程中,我们没有遇到技嘉控制中心的任何问题。它允许你对照明、风扇控制和性能进行调整。
测试条件
正如开头提到的,我们使用的是 Minisforum EliteMini UM780 XTX作为连接技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒的基础电脑。这台迷你电脑配置了 AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS32 GB DDR5-RAM 和 1 TB SSD。我们没有对技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box 进行任何优化,以下所有测试和测量均基于设备出厂时的状态。
技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒的时钟频率和问题
在理论时钟频率方面,技嘉完全沿用了 Nvidia Founders Edition 的数值。虽然这里规定的 Boost 频率为 2520 MHz,但我们在实际测试中经常看到 2700 MHz,这意味着也可以明显超出制造商的规格。功耗规定为 450 瓦,如果尝试一下也能达到这个值。但在正常的游戏运行中,你很难或根本达不到这么高的数值。这里的瓶颈在于 PCIe 连接。由于采用 Thunderbolt 连接,NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090 只能以 PCIe x4 3.0 的速度运行。根据我们使用各种与 eGPU 相结合的迷你 PC 的经验,我们可以看到在许多情况下这会带来怎样的性能损失。不过,iGPU 的性能仍然可以超越数倍。虽然我们之前只局限于中端机型(如英伟达GeForce RTX 3060 Ti),但我们已经看到,与带有完整 PCIe 连接的普通内置显卡相比,iGPU 存在一些明显的劣势。在技嘉 Aorus Gaming Box 中内置的 Nvidia 顶级型号中,差异明显更大,我们几乎总是会遇到 Thunderbolt 连接的带宽限制。
如果技嘉能为 Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box 添加一个替代的 OCuLink 连接,效果会更好。这样就能将带宽从 40 Gbit/s 提高到 63 Gbit/s,从而达到 PCIe x4 4.0 的速度。即使 OCuLink 连接仍然会限制 NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090,性能提升近 20% 也是可能的,而且非常重要。我们最近使用GPD G1 eGPU 对 Thunderbolt 和 OCuLink 进行了性能比较。您可以在我们的评测 中找到更多细节。
合成基准
合成基准测试结果很快显示,技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒的性能无法与普通台式电脑内置的 NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090 相提并论。在基准测试结果的累积性能方面,我们的测试样本要慢 33%左右。随着单个基准测试中 GPU 负载的增加,PalitGeForce RTX 4090 GameRock OC 的劣势可以略微缩小。Thunderbolt 连接的带宽限制给性能带来了明显的劣势。
在我们用来测试技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 游戏盒的设备组合中,外置 NvidiaGeForce RTX 4090 位于 KFA2GeForce RTX 4080 SG 和 AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 之间。如果 Thunderbolt 连接没有成为瓶颈,有时我们还能看到明显更好的数值。在 LuxMark 和 ComputeMark 测试中,技嘉 Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box 甚至能排在第二位。但我们确实无法对 eGPU 的性能做出任何概括性的说明。这有点令人沮丧,因为用户只能自己尝试和测试。

耗电量
