底盘

接口
如果你不介意没有读卡器,你会对端口的选择感到相当满意。Aspire 5不仅提供三个USB-A 3.0端口,而且还有一个支持Thunderbolt 4的USB-C端口。还有一个最新的HDMI 2.1输出,一个RJ45以太网端口,一个音频插孔和一个Kensington锁插槽。不幸的是,电源上的桶状插头非常精致,接近于易碎。这有可能限制该设备的耐用性。

连接性
在Wi-Fi性能方面仍有改进的余地。在我们的信号强度测试中,联发科MT7921芯片只提供了一般的性能,这涉及到将笔记本电脑放在离我们的新参考路由器华硕AXE11000一米的地方。发射和接收速率约为1,000 Mbit/s,Aspire 5无法与配备英特尔模块的竞争笔记本保持同步。
网络摄像头

辅料
除了一些信息手册外,宏碁只在Aspire 5中包含一个充电器。这个90瓦的适配器很好,结构紧凑,约12×5×3厘米(4.7×2.0×1.2英寸),重量仅约0.3公斤(0.7磅)。
维护
打开该产品进行维护的过程与其他多媒体笔记本电脑类似。要进入该设备的内部,你必须首先卸下10个十字螺丝,然后用一个扁平的工具将底盖从笔记本电脑上抬起来。在引擎盖下,你会发现一块小得惊人的主板,有一对热管流向两个风扇。还有两个内存插槽和两个M.2插槽(见照片)。打开Aspire 5还能让你接触到Wi-Fi模块和电池。

输入设备
键盘
输入设备充其量只能算是一般。键盘最大的缺点是按键上的字体很小。根据观察角度、时间和环境光线的不同,可能很难将字体与灰色背景区分开来(可读性差)。宏碁应该用黑色的按键和更大的字体来代替。同样,键盘的打字感觉也不太理想。除了前面提到的坚固性问题外,我们对按键相当模糊的反馈也没有留下什么印象。因此,经常打字的人可能应该看看其他替代品。
另一方面,在布局上也没有什么可抱怨的。主要部分大多遵循标准的键盘布局。我们唯一不喜欢的是小的上下方向键和数字键盘的三列而不是四列。背光只有一个亮度,这也是一个遗憾。
触摸板
触摸板也不会赢得任何奖项。和键盘一样,它也感觉相当粘稠--底部的左键和右键区提供的反馈太少。此外,触摸板有响动的趋势,这减弱了设备的质量感。触摸板的手势支持和质地没有什么了不起的,它们既不坏也不特别。触摸板的尺寸为12.5 x 8厘米(4.9 x 3.1英寸),对于一台15英寸的笔记本电脑来说也是绰绰有余。
显示
那些对图像质量非常挑剔的人不会对Aspire 5 A515-57G感到满意。该设备上的全高清屏幕(CMN N156HCA-EAB)充其量只能算是一般。
