机箱 - 底座 MBP 14(银色或太空灰

底座的正面边缘较硬,长时间使用时可能会割伤皮肤。底座没有任何锥形边缘的设计也让人感觉相当笨重。由于屏幕更大,它也比即将上市的 MacBook Pro 13 大得多,但 MBP 14 实际上略薄一些,为 15.5 毫米对 15.6 毫米。

连接性 - 基本 MBP 14 没有 Thunderbolt 4

从端口情况来看,新款 MacBook Pro 14 的基本型号实际上更接近 MacBook Air,因为左侧的两个 USB-C 端口支持 USB 4,但只支持 Thunderbolt 3,而且右侧的 USB-C 端口也没有了。不过也不全是坏消息,因为与 MacBook Air 相比,新 Pro 提供了 HDMI 和 SDXC 读卡器。与之前基于 M2 的 MacBook 一样,新款 MacBook Pro M3 只支持一块外接屏幕(最高 6K @ 60 Hz),HDMI 输出也仅限于 120 Hz 的 4K。作为对比:M3 Pro MBP 14 可以驱动两个外接显示器,HDMI 端口分别支持 60 Hz 的 8K 或 240 Hz 的 4K;M3 Max 最多可以驱动四个外接显示器。

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The display backlight flickers at 14878 Hz (worst case, e.g., utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 100 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 14878 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8706 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

处理器 -Apple M3

新款Apple M3处理器是首批采用 3 纳米工艺制造的芯片之一。其核心配置与之前的M2处理器没有区别,仍然是一个四核高性能集群和一个四核高效集群。至少从理论上讲,现在性能内核的时钟频率更高,可达 4.056 GHz(M2 最高为 4.38 GHz)。我们仅在单核测试中观察到最高 3.78 GHz(通常为 3.7 GHz),在多核测试中观察到 3.63 GHz。现在,高效内核的频率最高可达 2.748 GHz(以前最高为 2.4 GHz)。

我们将在新版Apple M3 的综合分析文章中详细介绍其效率,但功耗与Apple M2 基本相同,这意味着效率更高。在多核测试中,我们看到的功耗约为 20 瓦,单核测试中的功耗略高于 5 瓦。

系统噪音
