外壳 - XPS 14 采用稳定但笨重的铝制外壳
新款 XPS 的设计深受去年 XPS 13 Plus 的启发。戴尔保留了旧款产品的楔形设计,并提供铂金和石墨(深灰)两种颜色。底座前端呈锥形,给人一种设备更轻薄的感觉,但拿起它时,就会明显感觉到它有多重,总的来说,机箱实际上有多笨重。从外观上看,新款 XPS 14 给人留下了良好的印象,一打开盖子,连续的玻璃掌托(没有明显的触摸板)和按键之间没有任何空隙的白色键盘就占据了主要位置。掌托上的指纹不成问题,但在机盖上可以看到一些轻微的痕迹。

网络摄像头

维护
底盖通过八颗 Torx 螺钉(T5)固定,可以轻松取下。不过,包括内存和 WLAN 模块在内的大部分组件都是焊接上去的。即便如此,风扇还是可以清洁,M.2-2280 固态硬盘也可以更换。电池是旋入式的,如果需要,也可以更换。
输入设备 - 键盘需要一些时间适应,功能键也很恼人
戴尔决定采用 XPS 13 Plus 的键盘设计,在新款 XPS 14 中也安装了按键之间没有任何缝隙的键盘。键盘本身略微凹陷,打字时感觉很舒适,按键也很精确。不过,也存在其他一些问题,因为我们经常会按错键,而且键盘肯定需要一些时间来适应。垂直方向的小键也很烦人,如果手指稍大,就很难按到,而且大键(空格键、回车键)发出的声音明显更大。电源键(包括指纹扫描仪)位于右上方,也就是你期望找到删除键的地方,这就带来了下一个问题。
功能键是以触摸条的形式安装的,并且总是亮着,这在播放视频时可能会很烦人。正常的 F 键可以通过 FN 键显示,公平地说,这个键整体上也很好用,我们在测试过程中没有遇到无法识别输入的问题。不过,你甚至不能盲目使用 Esc 键,总是要看一下按键。
我们在键盘背光方面遇到了一个问题,因为触摸栏照明在不活动时会关闭,但在播放视频数小时而没有任何输入时却不会关闭。键盘的亮度也是通过传感器不断调节的,你无法影响其强度--至少我们没有找到一个选项。传感器也不关心照明是否在不久前被手动关闭;只要照明条件稍有变化,照明就会被重新激活。
触摸板完全与掌托融为一体,你无法辨别它的起点和终点。触摸板使用了整个掌托的高度,宽度从左 Alt 键的中间一直延伸到新的 Co-Pilot 键上方。总的来说,触摸板运行良好,触觉反馈均匀流畅,但如果离开触摸板区域或开始动作时稍稍偏离实际触摸板区域,我们偶尔会遇到问题。不过,与触摸条相比,这只是一个小问题。选配的 OLED 面板也配备了电容式触摸屏,而且效果非常好。
显示屏 - 3.2K 触摸式 OLED
新款 XPS 14 9440 标配 14.5 英寸全高清面板(无触摸屏);如果额外支付 300 美元,你可以选择高分辨率 OLED 触摸屏,其分辨率为 3,200 x 2,000 像素。主观而言,反射式面板的整体画质非常好,内容显示非常清晰,色彩也很鲜艳,但在显示浅色内容时,你会发现有轻微的光栅效应。我们在三星新一代 OLED 产品(如Galaxy Book4 Pro 14,评测即将发布)上没有发现同样的问题,戴尔的 OLED 在亮度方面也稍显落后。
在 SDR 模式下,我们测得的平均亮度略高于 350 cd/m²,与老款 Zenbook Pro 相仿--而目前分辨率略低于 2.8K 且刷新率为 120Hz 的三星 OLED(如ROG Zephyrus G14 或IdeaPad Pro 5 )则超过了 400 cd/m²。其黑色值为 0,具有极高的对比度,与 IPS 面板形成鲜明对比的是真正的深黑色。此外,OLED 屏幕在响应时间方面也有明显优势,但反过来,它在所有亮度级别都使用了频率为 480 Hz 的 PWM。
在 HDR 模式下,其描绘小图像摘录时的最大亮度为 625 cd/m²,而在显示几乎全白的屏幕时,亮度则达到约 580 cd/m²。对于 OLED 屏幕来说,这些都是不错的数值,但其 Mini-LED 竞争对手在这方面可以提供更高的亮度,尤其是MacBook Pro 14 ,其亮度超过 1,500 cd/m²。此外,在处理 HDR 内容方面,macOS 依然具有巨大优势。

处理器 - Core Ultra 7 155H

噪音排放

温度
XPS 14 的表面温度没有任何问题。在怠速运行和执行要求不高的任务时,金属外壳几乎不会发热,即使在满载的情况下,我们也只在设备底部后部中间区域测得约 42 ℃ 的最高温度。当然,这个温度还是很明显的,不过,把笔记本放在大腿上还是可以的。我们在底座顶部测得的最高温度约为 40 °C,而键盘区域的温度仍然较低,因此在打字时不会受到任何限制。
在使用 CPU/GPU 综合负载的压力测试中,显卡的功耗稳定在 30 瓦,而处理器的功耗则取决于温度。在消耗了 66 瓦之后,处理器又在短时间内消耗了 40 瓦,然后在 20-30 瓦之间达到平衡。当芯片温度达到 80 ℃ 时,功耗开始缓慢下降,当芯片温度低于 70 ℃ 时,功耗又会短暂上升。在压力测试期间,CPU 的平均功耗略高于 20 瓦。
